Ah, Park Shin Hye made Kang Bitna a sin to love. I would say Kang Bitna joins Sun-mi (Marry My Husband) and Alice (Luther) as the anti-heroes we hate to love. It's difficult to say whether or not a 2nd season would be possible. It would be nice, however. After all, they did bring back Alice - twice now - in Luther.
One note, whatever happened to the original Kang Bitna? Wasn't she wrongfully sent to Hell? Didn't Gremory end up in the mortal world because of it? A loose end that was never satisfactorily wrapped up.
Park Shin Hye as proven herself to be a Goddess of vocal intonation and masterful expressions. How she can go from murderously gleeful to drop dead serious as she dispenses final judgement, at the flip of switch - flawless transition - is amazing to watch. Park Shin Hye was unpredictable as to what side of Kang Bitna we would see from moment to moment.
Favorite moment? Episode 8, the final golf swing... as Kang Bitna says, "Good shot."
Kang Bitna, the anti-hero demon of Justice from Hell. It is a mortal sin to love Kang Bitna, the character. The character is up there with Alice from Luther and Sun-mi from Marry My Husband.
Park Shin Hye's intonation and facial expressions shows, once again, her mastery of both. Park Shin Hye as Kang Bitna is, in one moment, a murderous demon of Justice imparting her brand of justice with glee and shocking relish and mirth. Only to flip a switch the very next moment to being a serious demon-judge that dispenses final judgement upon the criminal.
Park Shin Hye displays her mastery of intonation and facial expressions as a darkly humorous, psychotic, murderous demon of Justice whose statue adorns many a courthouse world-wide. We laugh as she displays the character's sweet side who gives murderer's they same treatment those murderers gave their victims. Good shot. And yet, as if a switch were flipped? She flawlessly transitions into a serious demon intent on delivering her form of "justice" with vengeance in sending a soul to Hell.
It is a mortal sin to love the character of Kang Bitna. The characters closest to Kang Bitna would include Alice from "Luther", were viewers demanded a separate show all about Alice - and producers have confirmed she is not dead. To Su-min from "Marry My Husband", portrayed by Song Ha-Yoon. Or perhaps Tiny Tina from the Borderlands videogame franchise (not the movie which is unadulterated schlock not worthy of watching).
the rating going up every time i come back here is my favorite animal
Supposedly, The Judge From Hell is on a smaller network that does not have the resources of the majors. That their ratings compared to audience size on the network is fantastic.

Finally, I started watching Doubt after overcoming my doubt. Excellent.

Delivered perfectly. That line and her expression and how she says it, is simply God-tier acting.
It is Dear Hyeri is on a smaller network yet posting good numbers for its audience size.
