it feels like the writer unknowingly wrote HJP's character as too strong and likeable and now with the huge response he's been getting, they're like "oh shit, didnt see that coming" and now they just pinned the blame of killing someone on HJP as well. They're going to great lengths to undo the good image he has achieved and its literally showing
If it was another drama, I wouldve felt happy because engaging characters in such situations means that we'd be exploring them more and it provides depth to them, but in this case with this writer and with what we've all been given in the past week. I cant give them that. I dont trust them enough for this lol

some characters are pissing me off so much that its not even frustrating anymore. It has started to bore the hell out of me. This is a very emotional comment ik but idk what has the writers planned idk really i just want them to reveal a hint for the big picture that'll give me some peace. Because if all that is happening IS the big picture then its too much for me lol.
I think the synopsis above is a bit misleading and should be changed, there should be some mention of the backstory, letters, SDM's family, the love triangle and then lastly about the start-up.

he reminded me of my ex during this ep (wasnt a very good time, always played the victim by being overly nice to me whenever there was a problem, made me feel guilty towards him and so on) i had a tough time finishing today's ep seriously.. idk what the fck is happening anymore the writers keep ruining every character i want to cry fr

fam i agree with everything you've said. I too have been engaging with comments about the whole lie thing i blame the writers for making it the central storyline and I too prefer HJP's character over NDS, I also have this weird curiosity about WIJ. The point I was trying to make was that nobody wants to hear anything here. I see many people literally fighting and even i feel attacked just by reading those comments even though im not even a part of the whole mess. It just hurts a lot. This isnt a health y discussion. Im not pointing fingers at anyone and believe me Ive been there too. I was too frustrated about how they shifted the focus from the main story to a topic the writers werent even confident about. They are just having too much fun seeing us all argue. Sometimes I even feel scared for the actors who are playing these roles. I became okay with this whole messy and pointless writing after watching ep7 where everything went down the drain.

let the man vent thats the only thing he can do and she is the only person in front of whom he can do this. he did realize that he was harsh and he did listen to what she said. he was having his moment. you cant expect him to be super calm after realizing his feelings for sdm and also the fact that he literally set the stage for NDS and gave him a chance with her.

if there was a way to whistle in the online comment sections even once, I'd use my chance to do that here.

I agree with everything except the last part, he shares only a mentor-employee relation with her according to Dalmi, its his job to give her the professional advice whereas Dosan and dalmi share a more personal relationship hence his comment of telling him anything that bothers her. Just an opinion I can be wrong as well I mean theres no lying in saying that they do have opposite characters.

if they do that (using if because i really dont want them to do it) their desperation would be obvious to everyone. Using a strong character like HJP pretty much as a mere catalyst to increase the chemistry between the fl & ml would be the most clumsy and dumbest act in the history of kdrama writing. If they were planning to do this, they should've left him out of this whole love triangle crap. They're wasting the massive potential of his character god im so mad

Haha, it'd be breath of fresh air if they actually take a complete 180 there. Only then it makes sense for his back story to be there and for his character for being so strong and likeable.

I agree with every point here lol. But no even with those scenes im not gonna get my hopes high, i have come to the conclusion that the writes are only using his character as a catalyst to add some chemistry between the fl and the ml, theyve made his character secondary to their love life, not to them as individuals and it kills me. A huge waste of potential really. it was better to keep him as a strict mentor only. at least that wouldve been a lot better than what theyre giving us rn

I wont argue on everything here because i have already had a whole discussion abt those points too many times so ill just say that please know that the time was too hard for dalmi, she needed someone to depend on and to talk to and grandma gave her HJP disguised as NDS to do just that. Grandma was there only in the begining. She didnt even know his wish that he wrote abt in the letters. Thats enough proof to say that they communicated on their own. It might be too far-stretched to say that they both shared an intimate relationship but its also not right to discredit their bond completely.

um he just rephrased whatever nds said to him first to convince him to give up on that one thing.

saying this already that i dont mean to offend you but dosan is the one who willingly entangled himself in this whole mess. he was given many chances to walk away but the writers wanted him to get involved with her. It isnt dalmi's fault, she was never in love with a face but she was in love with the thoughts, ideas and emotions of someone who wrote to her under the name of NDS. All her compliments to NDS were based on the person from the letters 15 years ago. I do believe that everyone has their opinions but i dont see why youre blaming dalmi when she is the victim here.
