I officially love Shin Sung Rok's character--as if I wasn't sold on him two episodes ago! That scene where he say's "i'm not joking," and proceeds to make the mean trainee drink the beer with the laxative she meant for Chun Hee was priceless. I couldn't stop laughing.
Sigh...just had to fast-forward through parts of ep 13 out of sheer boredom...what a waste of time---it was literally…
I'm watching Love Myself or You with Puff right now and so far it's pretty good. And even though Just You is just a typical rom-com, the cast (especially Dean!) and side stories overall are alot more interesting than what's happening with this drama right now.
Hwang Jung Eum's character is aggravating so far. She's intelligent, but has no sense. You would think they would have been knocked into her after the events that have taken place so far, but no. I'm really hoping she'll learn to think before acting as the series progresses b/c all she does it put others at risk. If the writers continue to script her this way, not sure I'll be able to warm up to her character.
That scene where he tastes the kimchee right off of Yoon So Yi's cheek in FBRS will forever be etched in my memory. Totally love Jung Il Woo and looking forward to Night Watchman's Journal!
Sigh...just had to fast-forward through parts of ep 13 out of sheer boredom...what a waste of time---it was literally a rehash of ep. 12. And there's supposed to be another 10 eps?. Shoot me now. What could the producers/writers' possibly be thinking? I must truly be a dedicated Aaron Yan fan--b/c only for him am I putting up with not just one, but TWO irritating female love interests and lackluster supporting characters. Lance may be evil, but right now he's the only interesting one out of the bunch.
I'm kicking myself for not watching this when it first aired! It's such a fantastic drama. It had its flaws, but they are easily overlooked with the great cast and quickly paced story. Doctor's Son (Jung Kyung Ho) stole the show in my opinion followed closely by Safari, Lee Jin Sook and Kim Hyeon Soo. The movie's ending, while sad, was also fitting.
Such a fantastic drama with a solid cast. I loved that the series never took itself too seriously. Watabe and Sato were awesome and played off each other brilliantly as partners/father&son. I will always crack up whenever I hear anyone say Shimao's catchphrase..."Nonsense." Sad to see the drama end. :(
Not a fan of period dramas, and even less so of revenge melodramas...but somehow Lee Joon Gi makes me throw that aversion out the window! Sometimes I think I'd even be okay with just watching a stick figure doing jumping jacks as long as LJG is playing the main role.
Really liking Shin Sung Rok's character in this drama so far. But I still keep expecting him to kill someone...for those scratching your heads...i'm referencing YWCFAS.
This show is like candy...bad yet addictive. Just watched ep 12. I wanted to slap just about everyone at some point during the show---except for Lu Tian Xing--we'd never want to hurt such a handsome face. :) And of course Butler Fu and the dog can do no wrong. Lance and Huan Huan however deserve a special beat down. From the beginning, I had a feeling Lance was going to be trouble.
I typically only watch dramas that are 20 eps and under--so I can't believe I got through all 80 eps of Tiamo. I'm giving myself a cookie for my achievement. The story isn't overly original and showcases every cliche in the book, but somehow it still keeps you engaged and wanting more. I think Vanness and Bobby also have something to do with it. lol Somehow I never ff-ed their parts. :)
But I'll be honest, just about every character irritated me at some point in the story (well except for Xiping and the dog, Haru). Special mention to XiHui whose high pitched muppet voice drove me crazy. And around ep 60, I truly wanted to strangle the writers for making the story a mess with the whole Zheng Jun angle.
I love Jikou Keisatsu and Satorare. I'm sure I didn't get half the jokes in the former (so many sight gags, it's…
I really enjoyed La Maison de Himiko as well...really cool role for Odagiri...and I agree--I like that he takes on so many supporting roles--its so much fun to see him play all sorts of characters.
