Title Ouroboros
Oguri Shun rocks! Takito Kenichi is also hilarious as the overly suspicious detective. But seriously, during the end of ep 6/beginning of ep 7 it feels like the drama takes a surreal turn when Ikuta Toma contorts about like a possessed zombie. I believe those scenes are meant to be serious, but I couldn't stop laughing. I know Ikuta Toma is a great actor, so I'm blaming the director for that crappy direction. But I also never read the manga, so perhaps that's the way the character is supposed to be portrayed. I just wish they had gone more subtle and less manga-ish in those particular scenes. But overall, another fantastic Japanese drama, with a fitting ending that had me reaching for the tissue box.

Really creepy seeing Jung Kyung Ho in this type of role.

I usually don't prefer melo's...but Jung Kyung Ho and Yoon Hyun Min together again is a must watch. So far the first two eps are really good. Let's hope the writers/directors keep the pace up and pull through on this one. .

Daebak! If I could give this drama more than a 10, I would. I know that there are some out there who didn't love it as much as everyone else did, but that is where personal tastes come into the picture. For me, when a drama has engaging/talented actors I enjoy watching, a good storyline that keeps you wanting to watch what happens next, and the chemistry between the leads is compelling--this automatically becomes a 9 or 10 for me.

Healer had all of these elements making it one of the better dramas of early 2015 with Ji Chang Wook as the icing on the cake. I've watched a lot of dramas over the years, and admit to having become somewhat jaded in my opinions. So when a drama like 'Healer' comes around, it renews my hope that at least once a year, some writer/producer out there will create a show that surpasses the mediocre---making it one of those dramas you'll always remember.

Honestly to me Ha Na seems like a one-dimensional character... I'm really just watching for Sung Joon at this…
I stopped comparing KMHM and HJM a long time ago. The look and feel of the dramas are just too opposite, even if they have the multiple personality idea in common. I'm watching each for what they are worth. I completely agree about Ha Na's character. It's just blah. There is nothing spectacular about her. And the chemistry between Han Ji Min and Hyun Bin is just so-so. Ha Na hasn't committed to Robin or Seo Jin, so the awkwardness becomes palpable at times. It's already episode 16, and while I still like Seo Jin a little better, if he were the one to 'disappear,' I really don't think I would care one way or the other.

Would it kill Hana to crack a smile every so often? I really like Han Ji Min as an actress, but the writers are giving her the short end of a stick, by making her character so depressed all the time. And it's not just her, Robin and Seo Jin have become debbie downers too. I get this is a serious time for all three, but come on...this is supposed to be a rom-com--when did it become a melodrama? It's a sad day when the only scenes I find interesting anymore are the ones with the cousin, Ryu Seung Yeon. That guy and his sidekick are a hoot. Still laughing over the 10 cakes.

Title Kill Me, Heal Me Spoiler
I've read some of the comments speculating who Ri Jin's parents were. I'm not convinced that Min Seo had an affair with some random man--the consequence being Ri Jin. Because then, Ri Jin wouldn't have rightful claim as an heiress. Her mother as past CEO is not blood related, so any children she has out of wedlock would not have a claim.

I know it's a stretch, but here's another theory to throw around. The grandmother has an affair and gives birth to Joon Pyo. As her only true offspring, she is obsessed with keeping him alive and securing Seung Jin Group for him should he ever wake up. Joon Pyo has Do Hyun with his mistress Hwa Ran.

The grandfather finds out at some point that Joon Pyo isn't his real son, and takes his revenge by having an affair with his favored daughter in law, Min Seo and making her CEO. The grandfather and Min Seo have Ri Jin, heiress to Seung Jin Group. They pass Ri Jin off as the daughter of Joon Pyo and Min Seo to avoid any scandals. While not blood related, this made Do Hyun and Ri Jin siblings by circumstance, which is why they were close and Do Hyun tried to save her from his fathers abuse.

I was becoming concerned that Hyun Bin's first drama back was turning into a flop. And often I found myself scratching my head wondering what Hyun Bin, Hang Ji Min and Sung Joon were thinking when they picked up this drama. The first 7 episodes have their moments, but as a whole fall flat. I've been slightly disappointed, but I figured I've watched worse. And it has helped immensely that many of my favorite actors are in this. But after episode 8, all I can say is WOW!! Finally, things are turning around and giving the viewers something to look forward to. I hope the writers keep up the pace and make this an outstanding drama. I'll still continue to watch it either way, but I'd rather not see HB and SJ's talent wasted on some mediocre drama.

I usually enjoy noona/dongsaeng dramas, but this one fell flat for me. There wasn't any believable chemistry between Aoishi and Tanokura. Furthermore, the writers failed to give Tanokura's character any depth, so I often found myself thinking 'can this kid be any more dull and boring?' But I guess it was a match made in heaven, because the writers wrote Aoishi to be just as colorless!

I was far more entertained by the interaction between Aoishi and Asao. Now that relationship had the potential to sizzle. Too bad the writers didn't fully explore it. I would have even preferred her with Ooshiru over Tanokura.

Tamaki and Ayase are two of my favorite actors--it's a shame their talent was wasted on this drama.

So glad someone did a guide on Vanness. He's been one of my favorites since Autumn's Concerto. I also loved him in Ti Amo Chocolate. I hope he continues to appear in more dramas!

Maybe I wasn't in the mood for such a dark story when I watched it, but I found it difficult to stay engaged. Not sure if it was the slow pace or that I couldn't relate with either of the main leads. Everything about the movie is pretty depressing. And those poor pigs! Yeesh. One thing this movie drives home however, is that rumors once started, can really tailspin out of control.

I was never able to connect with and like Emi's character. I believe the writer was going for eccentric genius, but instead I just found her irritating. I would have preferred seeing a more human side of Mao, by including a mini subplot in each episode focusing on her meaningful connection with the other cast. This would have given her some character development, and made the other cast come off as the intelligent doctor's/investigators they were supposed to be instead of bumbling lackeys. Inden and Yashiki were the only two non-idiots. The semi-reminiscent Hanibal Lector-style mystery scenario was interesting enough, but then the ending left me annoyed they spent 8 episodes leading up to that asinine premise. Overall it's a decent enough drama, but not great.

It's a nice movie about forgiveness and healing. Even had me tearing up a little at some parts. The sub plots also introduce themes of team member dissension/rivalry and never giving up even when you think you're at your limit. Worth a watch if you're okay with even paced movies that take their time to tell a story.
