Gotta say that this drama is really fantastic. From a badass wandering swordsman to a hardworking humble chef....Sato is doing a great job with the role of Atsuzo.
Second lead syndrome over here. But apparently my ship has already sunk as Shi Hoo seems to kick the bucket at the end of episode 4. Yeesh. Sorry, but so far, Jae Min's character is not very likeable. All he does is whine about hating vampires, yada, yada, yada. All his mom did was marry one (and a nice one) -- get over it already.
And from the last few minutes, it looks like Jae Min, Ma Ri and Shi Hoo's past lives were intertwined. Not a bad twist, but poorly written in. I'm curious to see what happens next, but I have a feeling the drama isn't going to get better. I mean seriously, all they could think of was the overused amnesia cliche to push the story along?
Talk about impactful beginning! Just two eps and so much has happened. This is a first where I like all of the actors in a drama -- even the evil ones.
I found this one to be a bit boring. I wanted to see how it ended but I didn't really CARE how things were going…
Agree. I enjoyed the first half, but the 2nd half not as much. I only stuck through till the end because of Jung Kyung Ho and Kim So Yeon - two amazing actors who are my top favorites.
Anyone know of other dramas/TV shows/movies like this? Where the villain is a creepy kind of attractive and is…
Try these...I listed the 'psycho' character and the drama/movie they're in..
Ryu Tae Oh - Gap Dong
Lee Jung Moon - Bad Guys
Oh Seung Ha - The Devil
Vick - IRIS (not a main character, but captivating when he's on screen)
Ichiro Suzuki - Brain Man
Lee Jae Kyung - You who came from the Stars
Pleasantly surprised so far. Didn't think I'd like it without all of the original cast, but everyone is doing a great job in the 2nd season. The story is pretty interesting.

Cool movie about allowing people free will to make choices, and then respecting their decisions. My take is that…
I agree that the execution was lacking, which is probably why it turned into a personal mission to figure the end out. Usually I'm okay with open endings, but this one just left me staring at the screen in irritation.
Sorry...but I just couldn't get Ina. She was a terrible character who only thought about her own happiness. I would have walked away from that situation, if I had been Deok Hoon. They can't live in a bubble, and the outside world will always be there to judge and impose their views. That poor little girl will be caught in the middle of that, no matter how much her parents try to shelter her. But I guess to each, his own.
Cool movie about allowing people free will to make choices, and then respecting their decisions. My take is that the three end up together. Unconventional, but hey, it's their choice.
Mo-rae breaks up with Sang In and Du-rae, because she knows she can't have both without hurting Sang In--who is having the most trouble with her evolution of heart. But eventually Sang In realizes that Mo-rae's love for him, is equally as strong, just different than what she feels for Du-rae. So rather than live apart, he decides to share.
We already know Du-rae's answer via the postcard he sends to Sang-In. It says 'If you miss me' underneath his Parisian address, and on the bottom he draws a picture of a seesaw. He's conveying that while it takes two to ride a seesaw, there is a third pivotal point in the middle making it possible. He too prefers to share than live apart. But we already knew this. When Mo-rae shared her feelings with Du-rae about not wanting to leave Sang In, but also liking him, he understood it would have to be the three together or everyone apart. That's why we see him so heartbroken on that plane--he's mourning the loss of both a friend, Sang In, and a lover, Mo-rae.
That they end up together is solidified in the last picture we see, taken when Mo-rae falls asleep during the picnic at their house. They are jostling about and joking that not all three will fit in the picture, but they do. This foreshadows that the three (plus baby) will eventually find a way to fit within each others lives.
As for the father of the baby, during the friend's wedding, Mo-rae stops to stare at the biggest picture. It's Du-rae showing off the drawing on his navel, which appears to be the tree of life with a little person in the middle. I took this to mean he gave life to the baby and is the father.
