End of ep2. I still dont get why Kelvin kidnapped Vier more than one time. It's not like Vier did something dirty to him in the past. They were not exactly dating or something. I dont like his psychopathic behavior.
What’s troubling is that he ordered those three bodyguards to be killed and buried, I thought he was faking and would retract his order later. She seemed saddened by the incident, but she had pretty raunchy sex that same night. 2D lives matter too.
So he was lying when he said he transmigrated right before her? Zhang San's diary, relationship with Er Bai and Lady Shanyi...he was there since he was a Crown Prince?
The ancient public toilet even has doodles on the wall, lol 😆😂 That kind of detail and humor is what separates a great drama from a good one. There’s never a boring moment, and the pacing is solid.
I'm pleased to see WXY's handsome face again. That striking updo and majestic face card got me every time (but that white hair got a boot lol)...but plot wise, his character is more of a support role than main lead. So far, he's just serving face in the background most of the time. I hope that changes as the story progresses.
The final five episodes feel rushed. The vibe felt off compared to the previous cases, as if they were written by a different writer. aside from that, I really enjoyed the series. I just felt that the choices made for the final episodes weren’t smart.
Okay, I watched the first three episodes, and they really got me intrigued as a true crime enthusiast. The pacing is great, and the cases feel realistic and reasonable...not something pulled out of thin air that would be impossible to solve in real life unless you’re a super genius. Like many crime dramas, there’s an overarching case tied to the two main characters, along with ongoing cases that gradually connect to it.
Y'all they will be filming new extra episodes (yes, plural) newly penned by same author with the same cast, director, shooting before Chinese New Year...so exciting!!! https://x.com/littlegalxy/status/2005173347613859987
Just started watching because I’ve been waiting to binge FOREVERRR!! The courtroom interrogation scenes remind me of Justice Bao, like Bao = LLF, Gongsun = SWM, ZhanZhao = XH....and especially when the suspect doesn’t want to spill the tea and he calls out the names of his guards, and they be chanting like, “Weiiii Wuuuu (silence!)” in unison. The only thing missing is the guillotine in the scene, Dragon Head for the royals, Tiger for the officials, and Dog for commoners. I like how LLF has matured over the seasons, but not gonna lie, the S1 hot head LLF was kinda hot. I lied, very, very hot.
