but the special episode looks like the 1930 Khun Yai time traveled to the modern day. In the novel, modern day Yai is a descendant of Khun Yai's sibling. I think Khun Leak got married and had children and one of the children is the current owner of the house who gave Jom the key to the chest. Her Mom, maid, brother, Hua residents that weren't accounted for in the story....they never implicated MY's father and caused him to killed himself. They never really showed MY family was killed, did they? As far as I can remember, they were sent to exile. It was mainly HQ and her father's doing. HQ's brother maybe bad but he didn't deserved to be killed that way by MY's wrath...so is her maid.

I was waiting for the scene with HRZ and HQ at the tower with flying lantern in the background (from the ending anime)...but it never showed up. Lol it didn't matter anyway because it was her damn dream the entire time 😂 seeing William Yang's face, I want "Strange Tales of Tang Dynasty 2" right now. He made a good pair with Peng Xiao Ran.
honestly, I do not mind the lengthy set up to use the new 'Pope' and 'Bella' characters in the on going story line. Technically, Kaysurang ( in Karake's body) and Karake (in Kaysurang's niece's body) aren't blood related so the romance set up of Soul of Karake falling in love with , Rueang, the Son who was born from her old body and Rueang falling g for the woman who looks exactly like his mom isn't weird at all 🤣🤣🤣
It wasn't bad. It wasn't great either. There were some cute moments. A typical idol BL with a simple story line which means we can't be expecting much from a 15min 8ep short program. Overall, I'm not mad.

The thing about Thai Lakorns is that they rarely come back for a season 2. They already hinted they were lovers from Yai's previous life in ep1. We'll see.
I'm guessing there are 3 possible endings -Jom travels to ancient time like the book and meets Commander Yai and hint for a season 2 (book) -Jom travels back to his future and meets the reincarnation of Yai (book) -Jom finds a way back to 1930s and reunites with Yai after Yai comes back from abroad. (my preferred ending) honestly, I don't like the book's ending. I'd rather have Jom ended up with Khun Yai instead of his reincarnation version.
