Is it to me or the subtitles in ep. 5 were really meh? I had to stop a few times and re-read them trying to make…
If you are watching on kisskh, it's machine translated (kh steals sawasdeeplus subs and update them after swd+ updates it). Sawasdeeplus just updated ep 5 sub which is a translation from Spanish to English by a person. "Oshiroen" releases subs one week late per TVer official channel b ut you need VPN to Japan and NekoCap extension installed on your browser to be able to view English subtitle. Personally, I am satisfied with Sawasdeeplus translation and do not have VPN nor patience to wait another week.
Its fine bc it is just a heavily implied intimate relationship between two men. Those existed throughout Chinese…
So you are saying banning gay content is not driven by homophobic agenda?! And the majority of gays also wanted it banned? hence, zero to none representation of LGBTQ+ community after say 2021? What you said was true. it used to be that way. Then, they stared banning ALL gay contents, are they not? It's not just a BL ban, is it? Representation matters, is it not? ... but again I'm speaking ONLY from my perspective and how I felt towards the ban. To me it's plain and simple, banning gay content = homophobic
So, let me get this Straight...Mr Wang and Mr Tao are secretly...(how do I put this)...f^cking?!π And the homophobic Chinese censorship board let it passed?! LOL or did I get this all wrong?
I'm very impressed. I liked 'Under the Microscope' so obviously, I am a little biased on this kind of style and set up: mystery/suspense/crime based, very few episodes, well written, no/min romance, great performance, etc. I'm not an expert at distinguishing between dubbing and real voices but I'm very convinced to the best of my ability that they use actors'real voices. No overexposed or smoothened skins. The story is very engaging and keeps me going to find out how it unfolds.
I was excited when I saw promo pics of Joseph in another costume drama but It's a digital world with all AI has cognition and self awareness. Not really into crazy digital family drama. Giving me "Eight Hours" flashbacks...not for me.
Lady Q was complimenting my profile gif. it's the Time Machine from a British show called "Dr Who". They're celebrating 60th year this year. https://rb.gy/36wrr
I am a sucker for BL Tropes and damn they drop trope bombs (memory lost, short-term memory lost, drunk sex, one-sided love confession,...) on this episode like it's X'mas. π€€π
I didn't watch the other couples but I watched this one because I like the guy from 'La Cusine'. The couple look great together and I quite like the campy take on the story.
I can see myself A LOT in Shiro-San. That supermarket lady will be crushing his β½β½ because she knows him well or flat fish is not part of 5% off deal. ππ€£π€£π€£
