That’s only this year! I actually took like a 2 year break from kdramas, but before that I was a BEAST. I’ve been catching up though. I also haven’t updated my kdrama lists on MDL - like other than the “kdramas watched this year” list, all my kdrama lists are 2017 and prior!!!! I have a lot of updating to do but the task overwhelms me lol

I was devastateddddd to see the September date bc I wanted to watch it so bad - which led me to once again, and it was incredible - which then led me to BMDF LOL! If u watch this, lmk!

I truly hope we get more to add to the list 😭 I loved her too and I kept hanging on for her but then there came a point I COULD NOT anymore

I was planning to skip the first few eps of ugly alert...if I end up watching it, I’ll let u know!!

It’s beautiful now looks promising, but I refuse to watch until all eps are out!!!! (A lesson u learn the hard way...)

Also the things you love about these dramas, SAME. The dialogue in “be my dream family” and once again too was INCREDIBLE the chemistry between all the characters, not just romance, FIRE the payoff to literally aly every character and relationship arc,,, ,chefs kiss.

and also, BMDF had plots I typically hate but took the things I hate about it and made it into something good instead. For example: the pregnancy plot. Ugh so brilliant I’d give both these dramas more episodes 😭

I wanted to watch it’s beautiful now but found it too early (I refuse to watch until a show finishes airing...learn the hard way LOL) and that’s how I came across once again, and tbh I think I’m ruined. Like that list is elite.

I HATED what happens to my family. I could not get past the characters...but maybe I should try again. I tried WHTMF after finishing my father is strange when it came out and I needed a rebound LOL

Haven’t heard of Never Twice 👀 I’ll check it out, ty!! I’m considering trying “ugly alert” but I don’t love the premise...

I loved all of these except what happens to my family and smile you (these two made me super angry instead lOL) but omg im kinda discouraged seeing ur list bc it makes me think I've already gone through the best ones. like my FAVS of all time are

daily drama - I just finished be my dream family and holy FRICKIN crap im on a journey to find something like this again bc that was INCREDIBLE

just before that, I watched Once Again and HOLY frickin crap again. so good.

I actually came to ugly alert after dream family in an attempt to find something as good as dream family, to cover the hole its left in me

it is so so so so so so worth it. I was obsessed with father is strange, but I think I came out of this drama loving it even more. in father is strange I only really liked the two youngest sister plot lines, but in once again I basically skipped nothing except the market scenes. genuinely a stellar drama that I'm very much not over and desperately want something to wipe my memory so I can rewatch

tbh. I wanted more than 100 eps, I wanted to see MORE of their lives after the conclusions if that makes sense. don't be intimidated by 100 (or 50 1 hr) eps!!! u might come out wanting more too!!!

SANG MIN GA EUN WERE MY FAV TOOO I was like not me loving the sadon couple again. But there were so many things to adore beyond romance. Ok we rlly are the same person, hit me with more if u have them 😭😭

I wonder how much of the novel they'll keep. hopefully, not the baby stuff, but I do hope they keep Ji Man as someone wholly indifferent and NOT IN LOVE with ML while he sleeps around with his other concubines. I also hope they show ML coming to the realization that a woman cannot truly love a man she has to share (notwithstanding consensual poly relationships) like I actually WANNA see the other concubines and stuff, and I wanna see the ML changing as a person very much born with the ancient mindset. in the novel, I loved NYX trying to figure out "how to fix a computer" T_T

also so happy this is getting adapted. honestly there are so many good Chinese novels.

the novel for this was SO GOOD I hope its a faithful adaptation!!!!! so happyDYX is leading

bro im with u 100% im rlly sick of these large age gaps they're doing, and it'd be fine if it was like 30 and 45 year old whatever they're adults but THIS SHIT I rlly hate. 19? a baby, cant even drink in some countries

this entire cast has such fire chemistry, and I loved seeing lee min jung I need her in another long drama asap LOL
