Rlly cute and fluffy, mindless fun. I was enjoying it a lot BUT my fatal mistake was watching when only 10 eps were out. I binged the 10 eps having a blast, and then completely lost interest in the last two eps. I think this is def a drama meant to binge.
I...legit think this is the best family drama I've seen. The dynamics, the character and relationship developments, not just romantically but literally so many different types of relationships??? from the two moms and their friendship to the kids and their in laws land the brothers and the sisters and like holy crap. And I think this is the least ive ever skipped in a long drama just because I was interested in nearly all the plot lines.
The romance is IMPECCABLE. My fav couple was def Sadon couple. I am absolutely OBSESSED with how outwardly obvious Jae Seok is with his like and later love for Da Hee. He gets so excited talking about her, his eyes light up, I've literally never felt more alone. I'll never forget what Da Hee said; "He makes me love myself" or Jae Seok's "I'll spend the rest of my life falling in love with you." I am crying in the club because this is PEAK romance. I lapped up every single scene of theirs with a devout hunger. There's so so so many things I love about them that I could go on for HOURS. But all the couples have wonderfully sweet moments and I just gahhhhhhhhhh
This drama also bypasses the WORST trope of these long dramas - a drawn out in-law opposition esp where the girl is treated like a servant by the guy's evil AND SUPER IRRATIONAL mom. This def has some of it but it's a lot more reasonable and understandable and also actually gets you emotionally invested, and it's wrapped up nicely as well. I'm having horror flashbacks to "smile you" or the MIL from "glorious day" lord.
Shoutout to Gyu Jin and his facial expressions throughout the drama LOL But a brilliant job by every single person involved in this MASTERPIECE of a show. I am left bereft.

I hate love triangles too, but specifically when they make it a genuine love triangle where the leads go back and forth between their feelings or there's actual mystery on who the final pairing is gonna be. This is not the case at ALL here. So the SFL is a super annoying deity who's the daughter of the Sky Emperor and in love with ML - I skipped most of her scenes LMFAO he never shows an iota of interest in her and instead gets rlly angry at her for hurting the FL
The SML is around for longer. He fell in love with FL as a kid and ardently pursues her for a lot of the drama BUT the FL never ever reciprocates and genuinely only sees him as a friend. I liked seeing ML jealous tho hehe. There's a point in the drama where FL mistakes SML for her childhood hero (someone who saved her life as a kid) but even in that misunderstanding, she comes to the conclusion of "Even if he IS that guy from the past, Chu Ye is the one I like now"
I can't answer your specific episode questions, but from my memory nothing was dragged out for too long. ML falls for FL p quick and it's so cute to see. Resolutions came pretty fast (and again I did skip SFL scenes lOL)
