i also looked at the scene like atali, the timestamps show the prison scene happens in the future/present and the main leads meeting for the first time happens in the past. the beach scene that we see of janghyun covered in blood ready to fight a hundred people is either the last scene of s1 or janghyun's last moment alive.

How i interpreted it is that Doshik doesn't have anyone he really cares about so Min wanted him to fall in love with Mihyun so there's a way Min can essentially find him, as Doshik will eventually go to Mihyun if he goes rogue.
i think they wanted Doshik to assassinate the NK leader and show it as an assassination for political reasons, but he made it seem like a heart attack, which obviously infuriated them. They probably trusted him enough to do the task, but had his connection to Mihyun as a backup in case he decided to act up again.

same we're almost halfway through and there's so much they can do with this kinda story

so refreshing to have a drama like this where most of the time the characters don't act in cliche idk how to explain but you expect the convo to go one way like you're used to but it doesn't but everyone still stays in character. i love jinjoo & beomsoo's relationship sm it's different but ordinary at the same time.. he started acting a little cliche after he caught feelings and it's so weird seeing that bc everyone else acts so untypically but i mean who can resist watching a ml crushing on the fl

honestly the voice phishing didnt bother me at all clearly it's a plot move to make the leads meet again and hey it's somewhat creative

only 2 eps in so it's pretty early to say but i really like this drama already, looking forward to the FL's relationship with everyone lmao.. helps that time travel is one of my most fav plots everr

if you like the concept of the FL meeting her parents as teenagers i recommend you check out the cdrama 'i don't want to be friends with you' the whole plot is about her befriending her mother as teens & also finding her father

tbf it did come out of nowhere and he started shooting everyone immediately so they couldnt exactly fight back straight away... most of them were in shock and couldnt think straight

she had surgery complications and they dont really explain why miso lies about haeun's death but i interpret as her wanting to keep haeun's spirit alive by saying she's out there exploring the world, which is what she was planning to do anyway

i think this has the most realistic set of high school teenagers reacting to a crisis. no one is inherently evil or a sociopath and wants to kill all their classmates. there are a couple immature and mean ones but they improve and actually help each other to escape the cubes. just normal teenagers reacting the way normal teenagers do, even the way some freeze up or act mildly selfish.

almost like they're constantly on the verge of getting killed...

have you watched the entire drama? he has definitely changed for the better

they pretty much trick us into thinking that until the last couple episodes so i think it's fitting lol

just finished this drama and it's not very special in terms of plot but i loved it, youth dramas will always have my heart. looking at the comments i was dreading the ending, since a lot of ppl didn't like it but i ended up liking it! it makes sense and im glad everyone gets their happy ending. it's been a fun watch im gonna miss these characters

i just loved that scene of sunjae & geonhu at the rooftop. i wish their friendship got more screentime it's so endearing.. the way geonhu's voice broke while yelling at sunjae to stop :( im glad geonhu's also there for him

everyone's reaction to stress/danger is different. i was yelling at my screen for her to scream too 😭 but in haeyi's case ig she's always been one to bottle her feelings and keep to herself when she's struggling
