this is not about her beauty/actress lol it's the fact that she has no dimension to her character, she's a complete goody-two-shoes which just makes her so boring compared to literally any other character in the drama because they actually have personalities!

i'm a seungcheon defender for life idc this is the morally-grey main lead we needed! it's so refreshing seeing this kind of personality as the main character. he's made some bad choices but it just makes him so much more human because yes, some people will choose money over family. if you want main leads who always make morally perfect choices literally go watch any other drama lol

their original son does love them though, he's literally trying his hardest to find ways to get them out of poverty

i agree. somang did bring light into his life for some time but it is nowhere near enough to remove all the pain that he was going through. just somang herself would not have ever been enough. it's so sad to think that he was so suffocated and trapped in his life that he felt the only thing he could do was die.

once the last season of the webtoon finishes, they might. the last episode did show gaeul calling somang, so I think it really depends on if the writers feel like it or not. i hope so, I loved gaeul's story.

i don't think it's best to blame the victim?? by calling him selfish for leaving his loved ones in pain you're failing to understand how much pain he was in his entire life. he was that miserable that he found no other option but to die. i agree that he couldve tried harder to hold on with the hope that life might get better but he was in a really dark place. it's disrespectful to blame him and other suicide victims for other people's pain, don't you think their own pain would have been just as bad, if not worse?

the contrast between somang&hamin's actors vs bomi&jinyoung's actors is so huge lol which greatly impacts their onscreen chemistry it's like we're watching two separate dramas

Completely agree with you here, funny how they made the really complex ml fall in love with a really one-dimensional fl. At some point I was really seeing some chemistry between yeojin and seungcheon, plus their characters work well together, but unfortunately seungcheon still only has eyes for juhee, and yeojin has a huge need to be in control.

COMPLETELY agree with you here, the younger couple's acting and chemistry is so bad compared to the older's that it's making me so frustrated because the contrast is so Clear since they're both in the same drama. the actress for BM is not doing her character justice. i also feel the acting for JM and JY could also have been better. hamin and somang, however, are on a completely different level. they're the ones i'm watching this drama for.

'he can get nasty if being nice doesn't work' when has he ever shown even a hint of hostility towards her? all he's done is shown heart eyes at her and even when he realised the fl has a crush on the ml, he was upset for a bit and tried to move on. he's really not as bad as yall are making him to be.
