Title Thirty-Nine
Does anyone know any drama where the story is centered on male friendship?
I definitely recommend Prison Playbook, it's unexpected a drama that will tug on your heartstrings because some scenes are so poignant but it will also entertain you with its sly scenes of clever sarcasm and comedic behavior between the inmates. Truly a heartfelt collection of real stories.

When I saw the clip of Kim Ji Won's character saying life was exhausting and every relationship was work, it really resonated with me. I'm currently a junior in college, and maintaining and making new friends seem to get harder as we all grow up. Making time for the friends we do have seems like to get more exhausting either due to little reciprocation or just doing the 9-5 is exhausting while balancing school. Nothing excites me anymore, and I worry I don't excite other people. When did life get so hard? When did I start thinking this way? Her desperation to feel and receive love is understandable...

Honestly, I didn't quite enjoy on the first watch and had thought it was lowkey flat, but for some reason I keep coming back to rewatch it. Although the romance of the first leads was a little underwhelming, their banter made up for it at times. What I most enjoyed was the relationship between IU and Lee Do Hyun. His face is just adorably cute! Their faces just seem to match well. This was a good binge drama when doing homework and such. Something pretty to watch every now and then. The cinematography made up for the underwhelming nature of the drama. I think it gets better with every watch though.

I keep coming back to this drama! Hands down the best K-drama (in my opinion).
I second that! I'm always going back to it to rewatch it from start to finish, letting it play in the background sometimes because I know what happens by heart at this point haha

with all the product placements, i cant tell if im watching a kdrama or a commercial
My sister and I are watching it together and we always call it out verbally "product placement!" and one scene where Kim Go Eun placed down a blank normal paper cup on the table and the camera was positioned in a way to capture the entirety of the cup like a product placement and my sister goes "product placement!" to mock the lack of subtlety in product placement shots and thinking of it is actually killing me lmaoooooo

You are my spirit animal. I can watch a 120 episode drama in half a day and still get a general gist of the whole…
120 episodes ?? Dang you have such determination, 84 is the most I've ever watched haha

I like Hyun Binney, and I can tolerate Son Ye Jin if I have to ... it's not that I dislike her because I don't.…
You should watch King2Hearts then if you want some major heartache lmao ; seriously it's a good drama ! It was interesting and also frustrating to see how they handled the differences and political aspects of such a relationship.

People who claim it to be too draggy or too long should just utilize the skip button. I watched it on netflix and managed to finish all 84 episodes in a day because I kept skipping. It didn't mean that the drama was necessarily bad but it was pretty enjoyable. Entertaining and definitely worth a try to watch. Of course for those who wish to appreciate the entirety of the drama for its nuances and story should watch it all. Shows that intentionally make it so long are not made for 16 episode drama watchers just a thought. Some people's tastes tend influence the impression of a drama. I'm not saying this was a 10/10 drama but it was a pretty solid soap opera to me!

While I do love the development in Jang Man Weol's and Ku Cheong Sung's relationship, for some reason I feel like there is just more solid chemistry between the Captain and JMW. Especially in those scenes where they only look at each other but their eyes seem to convey this longing for one another

Anyone else feel like the kiss came too soon?
Not really. It's refreshing that two main characters kissed each other before their liking one another was even solidified. It gives it a really modern twist on romances. Or rather modern twist on Korean drama romances which often take forever to get to the first kiss scene between a couple. It felt rather appropriate and fitting to their story line

sings of love while were they filming? was that what you meant? if yes; why would they show you any signs of love,…
Signs of love off screen ofc but on screen they had such bland chemistry and interaction between one another

Personally I never watched DOTS despite the hype, never understood it and never saw any solid chemistry between the two so to say the least, I was shocked when news of their marriage came up. In my mind I thought why on earth...would they marry each other when it was apparent they had no chemistry at all, let alone any signs of love? But to each their own I guess and I respectfully sent well wishes to them in thought but lowkey already had a feeling that the marriage wouldn't last long. So the news of their divorce wasn't at all...surprising. I always thought it was largely a PR stunt or something to carry the momentum of the DOTS hype and fame. And it sure did that.

Isn't there a Japanese drama with a very similar plot to this one.
Ah I'm sorry I was mistaken and thought of another drama in my mind

Have been holding back on watching Kdramas since last year, I haven't watched any interesting drama since spring…
honestly the drama started off super well despite its cliche storyline and such but the cast is amazing for a rom com! I would wait to binge watch it as it's still ongoing and a lot of things deeply frustrated me lmao while I was watching and waiting for the next episode so.. But it's your call :)

I don't think she was trying to justify it or treat it like it was a joke. I think she was unprepared for him…
I didn't meant come off as a hater of Jeong Gal Hee because I really liked her in the beginning. But the way she handled it really made me want to smack her in the head for a bit like "shut up, stop talking, you're making it worse." Apologies are definitely difficult to make and say but it was just a facepalm moment for me when I heard begin to apologize. Just sad on both ends.
