Well said! This mess/shift started around the time of Covid. It doesn't matter whether it's a cdrama, a kdrama, lakorn or whatever.

We are in the era "Female lead priviledge" or "Simp" era.. makes these men so unattractive, boring and the women, expect for maybe 5 FLs in the past 4-5 years, horrible.. but the excuses never stop..

I hated the the cold ML and cutesy FL.. and now they gave us the same sh*t but reversed.. WTF..

But the problem is rarely the 2ML, but how FL behaves.. and we all know how that is... I guess wont watch this one..

Before I start watching... the SML arc, could you please elaborate more on it?
Why is it annoying? For me, it's usually not the SML that's annoying, but the FL and how she behaves. Unfortunately, 98% of FLs are written in a dumb way --> regarding 2ML.

We are in the "simp" era.. no matter dramas or irl, same.. taff times for guys..

It's necessary for balance... because most female lead characters get everything handed to them. In particular, male charactersm simping 24/7 .. I know, i know it might be different here.. js..

That means, his agency is doing great picking up good drama..

There was too much focus on 2ML near the end.. so much emotinal focus, even the leads felt like second leads.. Writers obsession in general with second MALE leads.. is beyond my understanding.. cdrama, kdrama, jdrama, lakorn.. ..

Should have been max 28 Episodes.. the whole 2ML arc was predictable and boring.
Still overall 9/10, great chemistry..

Well, I finished it, and he was much more annoying than I expected. Not in a romantic way, but the amount of screen time and focus he got near the end was annoying. It was so predictable.
He had so much emotional screentime, that the leads felt like second leads compared to him near the end..

Honestly, FL's character is awful, and the actress 'might' not be the best choice for this role. However, it could also be the horrible writing of her character.. kinda feel bad for her. The review could certainly be longer, more constructive... It's just short and to the point, reflecting how many of us felt.. watching this drama. Also, there plenty other reviews that are more constructive. I get your point, but it doesn't change anything regarding the drama or how most of us feel about it.

I tried it.. 3 episodes. Personally, I found ML kinda weird. There's something creepy about him, or at least how he plays his role. I didn't find him attractive either. As for the FL, well, what can I say? The "agenda" is going strong.
