I love Lee Jun Ki and all but, sounds like a new Virgin Snow and... He's kind of too old to be a student...
Have you been watching "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo"? Lee Joon Gi not only is handsome but amazing! I thought he was 33, but MDL says he's 34, but he still looks like he's in his mid-20's... Plus, he's paired up with IU who is only 23 years old!
Excellent Drama! From reading some of the comments above and below, I think we must have watched totally diffeent dramas with the same name... Oh well, I thought it was Excellent in every way from beginning to end... I highly recommend this to especially to the fans of the 4 lead actors!!
It seemed as if they left it vague and open in case there could be a second season! I would watch it if they had all the original cast... I loved this drama ...
Fantastic drama... As good or better than the U.S. original version! Acting and Script kept my attention all the way through. I doubt if they could get all of the same actors together again for a Second Season, but it would be a great idea... If they change the main characters, though, it would never be the same... I highly recommend watching this (I watched it marathon style)...
Kim Rae Won has to be my all-time favorite. He's the first K-Actor that I began following four years ago when I first changed from way too explicit American TV to watching K-dramas... I've seen all of the ones listed above except for two I couldn't find. I'm also one who thinks Park Shin Hye and Kim Rae Won have superb chemistry!!! Love this drama. Don't want it to end ...
I'm feeling sad for those people who didn't like this drama and/or stopped watching it long ago! I enter watching…
I didn't realize that drama was a daily. I've thought about it, but I'm watching quite a few right now... don't need another one ;) FYI Dramanice... I'm not happy with their new format. Used to watch a lot there, but I don't want to give them my credit card number even though they say they won't use it ...

I so agree with you about how much more can be revealed through the daytime dramas as compared to the shorter weekly dramas. It does take special writers to keep the flow of information going so that it doesn't get too repetitive. I'm a true fan of dailies, but I've decided to watch shorter ones for a while. It takes a lot of commitment to watch dailies and follow through to the end ;)
-The vet is surely connected with the accident that happened with Hyun Ji five years ago. Maybe that took place…
I've been thinking of a coma from the beginning. There was another show either here in USA or Asian that had the supposed ghost interacting with one particular person then kept getting weak ended with the character in a coma (not dead) but woke up... This could just be supposition, but I want to see her as a human as I'm not fond of ghosts interacting with humans. It's against Biblical moral doctrines. Since this is a drama / story the writers can write their love story as they will. I only hope it turns out for the good ;)
When this first came out, I didn't want to watch it as I was put off by the title... Later, though, I watched "Phoenix" with Eric, who I totally loved. When I saw that he was in this drama, I decided to forget my bias against the title, and began to watch it... I'm so glad I did because it was such a great drama!! Writers, Directors, and especially the acting Cast was amazing! I think anyone would enjoy this beautiful romance drama... I know I loved it!!
This was one of the first K-dramas that I watched a few years ago, but I remember so much of it and how it made me feel... I loved it so much that it's a 10/10 all the way for me. I didn't even realize that Nam Goong Min was in this drama. At that time, I didn't know anyone's name to go with their faces :( Great Heart Wrenching drama...
He's the best looking, a body to envy, a complete versatile actor who is 38 years old but looks like he's in his mid-twenties!!! I'm glad I started following him in his rom-com projects. Now, I'm waiting to see what project he will follow up with after "Beautiful Gong Shim"??!! Can't wait!
I'm surprised at the reviewer's low ratings; but I guess you either love the cheesy comments and quirkiness or you don't ... I happened to really like this drama. It was Nam Gung Min back in his rom-com role... He will probably choose another bad guy role for his next project in order to balance out his fans. Some of the cliches were a bit much; but all in all, I truly enjoyed the show and looked forward to watching the new episodes. Even after 4 years of watching Asian Dramas, especially K-Dramas, I'm still glad that we have the option of watching them instead of some of the risque series they put on American TV and Cable Channels... I watched this mainly for Nam Gung Min, and he didn't disappoint me. All of the actors were great. Watch it and ENJOY... ;)
I originally wanted to watch this because of Lee Seo Jin, but I fell in love with te performances of Eric and Lee Eun Joo. also. ... I'm so glad I finally watched this drama that has been in my queue for a long time. Even at an early age, Lee Seo Jin had the acting skills that have made him one of my top favorites! He must have been 31 when this was made! Now I'm looking forward to seeing more of Eric's early projects! I highly recommend this melodram!!!!!
it's a Nice story i love the way Eric Moon care & makes her smile all the time ,I'm so touching everything he…
I keep a log of the K-dramas / movies I watch, info on the cast with other dramas I've seen with them... I just finished watching Phoenix which I had originally wanted to watch because of Lee Seo Jin, but so enjoyed the performances of Eric and Lee Eun Joo that I was anxious to find out more about them. I had looked up Eric to realize I had seen him in a couple of dramas but didn't realize who he was as he was so different in Phoenix... As I was starting to start a log of Lee Eun Joo, I saw your post where you said she is no longer in the world .... Shock! It happened less than a year from when she was in Phoenix! We never know what's in a person's mind and heart if they don't reach out and tell us... that's what makes this even more sad. What a beautiful and talented woman that has and will be missed...
Just finished watching him in "Phoenix", and thought he was amazing in every field! Didn't realize he was the same actor that was in "Discovery of Romance". Hoping to find "Que Sera Sera" and "Myung the Spy" online somewhere. .. Also heard that "Another Miss Oh" (2016) was really good also, but I was too busy watching too many other dramas when this just aired... the synopsis of his 2006 drama "Wolf" also sounded like something I would like. I only hope it's online also... Too many of the older ones get lost with no channels carrying them, especially with English subtitles...
I'm still stuck on Phoenix as my #1 Eric drama... It will be hard to beat his performance in that one!!!
I read the comments below before I watched the drama... The negatives almost made me miss it! This was even better than I expected it to be! A Mini-Fantasy-Melodrama! I really enjoyed the story, the actors, and the happy ending. I'm not fond of movies or dramas of cyborgs interacting with humans, but this did have some redeeming qualities as Bong Soon didn't really act like a cyborg ;) There's a lot of bad dramas with bad acting out in drama land, but I wouldn't include this one with that bunch! I looked at it for what it was, 15 minute episodes that maybe could have been better as one regular episode to make the continuity flow better... Watch it, Enjoy it, and encourage others to watch ;)
P.S. What about the movie "Gangnam" with Lee Min Ho and Kim Rae Won??
