True I’ve been watching k dramas since at least 10+ years ago but not all are illogical like this. You have your stand and I have mine. In the end you will see anyway that SB will end up with DH and the webtoon is kinda trashy. Anyway it’s not a cultural thing. It’s just here where this sort of things happened. But never mind, I still keep by my stand like you do with yours. Please do not reply with with a full paragraph. It gets tiring after a while. I respect your opinion, as you should do with mine.

“Logic fails and doesn’t make sense.
So showing the pretty lame fight and displaying saetbyul’s coolness is more important than simply reporting the bullies to the cops? I mean they basically attacked her and it was captured in the CCTV. Saetbyul is number 1 in fighting. But what’s the point of that scene? I guess letting the bullies go is build out to something like a kidnapping or another fighting episode in the future. Sigh. Come on scriptwriter/webtoons artist. Have more common sense.”
Also for a drama with no common sense, let’s not go into the details of their characters. Sure you can like SB and I can dislike her. That’s the beauty of humans. We can have different opinions.

Yes as I was saying, ep 6 was when I think everything changes. YJ confronted SB and SB backing out. About the piggyback, SB might not have any bad intention but if I were YJ and I chanced upon it, I wouldn’t like like it at all and by doing this, SB has already created a problem between them. You like your boyfriend having skinship with another girl? As a girl, you will openly flirt and tease the guy you know who already has a girlfriend? All these happened because SB likes DH and YJ knows that. That’s why I’m saying that before ep 6, I don’t approve of SB’s character. And DH piggybacking SB doesn’t seem to fit into a “professional” relationship. And DH doing that twice already broke her trust. Tbh I don’t care about the relationship YJ has with DH. I only pointed out that SB is a third party here. Also if YJ has already vocally expressed that she doesn’t like SB then DH should not have done anything which can cause misunderstanding. As I already mentioned, I dislike SB’s character here because since the start when she openly flirted to DH when she knew that he has a girlfriend. The way I see it, SB didn’t know her actions might cause harm to their relationship only until YJ confronted her and she then decided to back out. Anyway, to each on his own. I don’t like SB’ character here but I don’t approve everything that YJ has done. However, when you think of who is crossing the line, I don’t think the director and YJ have but SB has definitely crossed the line. Also, when you think of what source material this was derived from, you can see why there are so many loopholes with the plot and SB. But the main point is not comparing SB and YJ. The main point is who is, whether intentionally or not, being the 3rd party.

They are childhood friends. Of course they are close. But yeonjoo has made it clear to DH that she and the director are just friends. Also in ep 6 when she said to him that ‘I don’t want to lose you as a friend’ means a lot. Like she doesn’t see him more than just a friend. Nothing. And if he keeps doing this, she’s afraid she will be unable to maintain her friendship with him. I don’t agree with you that SB tried to keep a clear line with DH because if she did, she wouldn’t try to get a piggyback as a “reward” and refused to get off. Also, what has the director done before ep 6 for you to say that “also SB clearly maintained her distance with DH when he asked her while the boss never did it.” Before he openly expressed to YJ that he wants to be more than friends with her, the most I see him as is someone circling around YJ but YJ not actually thinking of him as more than a friend. He indirectly indicated his like for YJ by always being there for her? Yes. But SB directly expressed her like for DH. SB’s over friendly behavior is indeed for everyone but because she has an underlying motive as she likes DH, it definitely gets on the nerves of YJ. DH has never once expressed to YJ that he is not comfortable with her being close to the director but YJ, has, on several occasions, expressed directly to him that she doesn’t like him be close to SB.

Hmmm you do have a point but yeonjoo didn’t cross a line once with the director. I think before ep 6 he was still maintaining his friendship with Yeonjoo. Until ep 6, he began to actively pursue her. Yes until ep 6, SB decided to back out because YJ confronted her. But before that, you cannot deny that some things she did were uncomfortable to watch esp for YJ. Okay I admit that YJ was wrong at the bathroom scene. I don’t understand why she had to lie when she had everything from looks to wealth. Maybe insecurity? Maybe fear of losing DH? However, if you are the girlfriend and you see you boyfriend being so close to another girl, a pretty girl, it’s hard to react rationally too.

I beg to differ. SB has not once not on several occasions openly flirted with DH and even said that he’s going to fall in love with her even though DH said that he already has a girlfriend. SB also tried to provoke yeonjoo by saying things out of the line like how she spends the most time with him and how she likes him in an indirect way. In a previous ep, yeonjoo said that she was going to be firm this time round and she said it referring to DH. She was ready to change. I like yoojung in real life but I dislike her character here.

After completing the novel a few days ago, I noticed that they changed some things in the drama. I guess they wanted to speed things up because Aranya dream arc is kind of long and 56 eps are not going to be enough to cover it. Like in the cave, when DH is injured, FJ still thought DH was XZ and she hadn’t recovered her memories. I don’t mind this change as I really want more time for them as a couple in their true selves.
Ep 12 is really good. It proves that hard work =/= success at all times. Seeing Yoo Ra try to act as if she’s okay in the teacher’s room and then broke down afterwards was heartbreaking... she worked so hard and everyone knew that.
