Yes agree with HLS. Fuyao was trying to save the rest of the people who were there to help her because those were people whom she did not know personally but yet guarded her to death willingly. She did not want to see anyone else dying for her which was why she was crying so hard and begging them to stop dying for her. Also in ep 44, you can see that Fuyao’s nightmare (shown as her other self in the cave) is that people dying (the scene outside the gates). It makes a lot of sense if you think about it

Ep 41-42 were so hard to watch so many people had to die I can’t T___T
