About time! I don't really keep up with things so I had no clue Lee Joon Ki was taking the place of Song Joong Ki. Similar sounding names aside, I think Joon Ki is going to have his work cut out for him. Song was excellent in showing his vulnerability while being cunning and bad ass when need be. This will be interesting. I'm planning on cancelling Disney+ when this cour of Bleach: TYBW is done on Hulu so I guess I'll be using other means.
I've seen all of Kame's and Jin's dramas and Naru's RESCUE, which basically means I've seen almost all of them. You missed Anego starring Jin btw. It's been close to 20 years since I've seen it, but I'd be surprised if a KAT-TUN song wasn't used as the theme.
Can't be ultimate without the 5 linked below in a comment. Plus, you forgot Teta Sugimoto. He pops up out of nowhere in any kind of role. He's like the Samuel L. Jackoson of Japan. https://kisskh.at/people/745-sugimoto-tetta
Some of them are still in their 40s. Are they really oji-sans? Well, I guess it depends on your age now that I think of it.
Stumbled upon it by accident and I'm now on episode 7 of season 1 and loving it
I did! It may be a bit sadder than s1. There's a question left unanswered that I think they edited out, but it doesn't detract from it. Find the idea of the communities intriguing,
From the trailer it looks like Doh Kyung is alone in the majority of his scenes. It's so difficult to act by yourself. He's become such a great actor over the years. I didn't even realize he was in Exo until I saw him on Running Man with other members. I was like 'that's the kid from...' I'm definitely a fan. It looks interesting.
Sad to see Junha and "Mina" leave. Personally, I like them more than KK and Jin Joo. The producers purposefully gave Junha nothing to do imo. When they're detectives, he's on wait separated from the cast. When they did the talent agency, he had no role and has a great voice. Shame.
It's striking me as odd that over the decades of hearing Japanese boybands (mostly Johnny's), the best sounding/one with the talented singers full stop is FAKE. I really thought the 8loom actors were a real band after I heard them sing. Unless they were lipsyncing to another group.
hmm...if I were Yui the last episode would have gone differently. The sequel would be called ghost baby. Him: What do you want to do today? Me: Do all your parts work?
I hate when they put actors who are basically typecast in certain roles in mystery/thriller type dramas. You always know they're bad news whether they be the actual killer (which they usually are) or not. I'm sad that I figured whodunit in the first episode. It was a fun ride though.
I haven't watched a J melo in over a decade. If this didn't have a murder mystery and ghosts, I probably never would've started. I'm only on e4 but so far so good.
been thinking but..there really just aren't any 'good' character in this show (besides the son, I'd say). Otherwise…
I haven't really looked at her as a villain probably because she went so many years as an indentured servant basically. No excuse. Just that I never saw her that way, but I agree 100% that it all began in college. I don't know if the morning after pill was available in SK, but you'd think 2 medical students would have been able to discuss alternatives to ruin our lives and get married.
