I just forced down episode 5 and am making an attempt at episode 6. I just can't believe Kim Eun Hee wrote this boring slapped together crap. I've seen everything she's had on air from Harvest Villa in 2010 to Kingdom: Ashin of the North earlier this year and have enjoyed all of them. I guess she was due. My guess is she was paying too much attention to the next Kingdom short series.
Mine too. The only reason I haven't because Kim Eun Hee is my favorite screenwriter and I've never not enjoyed what she has written. I keep hoping that 'this' episode will be the one that turns the corner. In all honesty I'm bored with it.
Totally agree, that part made no sense whatsoever. Accusing the rangers of "acting as if they own the mountain"…
Exactly my point. The poacher woman knows she no right to complain. The arrogance is engrained in their culture. I've seen similar situations in Kdramas, which leads me to believe it's really part of their society.

He wasn't just hiking in a restricted area. He was poaching (and an endangered species). His wife should've been arrested, as they had just been fined, not treated with kid gloves. Not to mention they had stolen equipment in their truck.
Kim Eun Hee is my favorite screen writer. Her scripts are always fun for me. There's always a twist even if it's not supernatural. She's 100% my aestetic. I love her twisty mind.
E4 past is angering me. They were poachers! He died doing something he had just been fined for. How can that lady even have any type of a claim? She should be happy she's not in jail. Chief lost his job because a criminal died in the act of committing a crime. That's outrageous.
Wondering if this will be like Mouse in some way since they're revealing things so quickly.
How many traps is the MC going to fall for. He really ticked me off. Why didn't he just listen to the captain for once? At least ask why he should stay back.
I'll leave this here, no commentary necessary #stopthecancelculture. I wish I can get my hashtag to trendhttps://zapzee.net/2021/10/29/filming-director-of-hometown-cha-cha-cha-releases-a-video-refuting-others-claims-regarding-kim-seon-hos-bad-attitude/?utm_source=hancinema+&utm_medium=news&utm_campaign=referral+partnership
I edited and put it in my comment. I wish your hashtag would go viral, too!
I've said it for years SK fans are rabid. I don't know what kind of cultural shift needs to happen for them to chill tf out. They make scandals out of things that are none of their business and people lose their livelihoods for nothing. A rich singer knowingly having prostitutes and drugs readily available in his club is a scandal. Making a private decision w/a loved one is not. I'll never understand it. The SK public always make things worse.
I <3 Han Na. She really throws herself into everything she does. Most times I don't recognize her until she smiles. She never smiled in Designated Survivor. I didn't know it was her until I read the credits.
Never even heard of it! It totally slipped by me. By the way, I watched Ju-on: Origins yesterday. It was pretty. Confusing a bit at the end, but I think that's because I've forgotten some things about Ju-on.
I had no clue Tientsin Mystic was considered horror. hmm I think Kingdom was better than the sequel, but to each her own. :) I totally forgot about The Guest. I've seen almost the entire list. I found none particularly scary, but they were good. I'll have to remember #10.
I think she'll kill the lawyer. After that the team may have trouble or disband, but eventually find out there's another script.
I'm totally in love with the ending animations. Poor Santa-shi
