I was sure in ep 4, SURE like at 90%. I'm on ep 12 and I keep my theory. At the beginning of the episode (4) the…
Exactly! I'm almost caught up with you guys. I'd be surprised if it changes. It would be funny if we have 2 different theories and they're both wrong. LOL!
Did anyone think that by e4, you had it all figured out? I'm just on e6 and I'm positive I'm right. LOL edit: The end of e6 w/bird proved my theory. Now, I think I'm wrong.
he's just too good I can't have him steal the show (that's why I had to cast people in his league ;p)ikr! honestly…
Aye! Aye, Boss! Just tell me what you need. I was thinking more like Van Helsing, but hmmmmm.... you may be on to something. I always meant to check out zombified Jane Austen. Since vamps don't age I'm waffling between Seo In Guk, Kim Woo Bin, and Park Hyung Sik as WHD's dad. SIG is very bromancey. KWB is broody and supernatural looking. PHS looks so handsome in Joseon wigs & costumes.

LOL I put a some thought īnto Joseon Vampire Hunter. I couldn't decide if WDH should be a vamp or the hunter so I decided both! The lead vamp killed his pregnant mother, but he survived as a halfling. By Sunday I'll probably have half a short story written. :D
hmm why don't you like Do Hwan. You could've cast him in at least 1 of your dramas.. snark. LOL 2 things I really liked were Lee Kwang Soo as the villain and Gong Yoo possibly going dark. Honestly, I've been wanting to see LKS as a villain since Puck! I'd prefer if GY were the villain, too, but a possible is tempting. I just realized there's no horror. You don't want Do Hwan as a Joseon Vampire Hunter. Oh heck that's a great title!
I've heard mention of the different lands in movies/dramas, but I've never heard or don't remember hearing Novoland. This was interesting. I know I watched Legend of the Naga Pearls, but damned if I can remember it.
It is true that the productions quality are quite uneven, but I guess that applies everywhere, not all kdramas…
Production quality not withstanding I meant Taiwan drama industry as a whole. They push the envelope a bit, especially on social themes and then jump all the way back to where they were 15-20 years before. Every so often I check out one of their dramas and it never fails to disappoint. I think I will take your recommendation on The Victims Game.
"not all kdramas are great too ^^" I'm not sure why you brought up Kdramas, but you're preaching to the choir with that point. However I have to say they've improved a great deal over the past 15 years.
Well, I learned something. I wasn't "getting" it until the side by side comparison. Admittedly, I don't see much of a difference or the need for 2 genres. They talk about their God(s) in some wuxia and they fight in xianxia, correct? hmmm I may still be confused. LOL The Monkey King adaptations fall under xianxia?
I'll have to take a wait and see over the Taiwanese industry. I've had a love/hate relationship with Taiwanese drama industry for about 20 years. It seems like once every few years they let their writers and directors create. The outcome may not be fantastic, but you can't say it's not different. Your article reminded me of those creative times. On Children brought to mind Gloomy Salad Days while the detective one reminded me of Black & White. Each time I had hope that they would move forward and each time they jumped backwards to boring and or idiotic rom-coms totally misusing some unbelievable talent.
edit: The end of e6 w/bird proved my theory. Now, I think I'm wrong.

That one line cleared up all my confusion.
