I'm going to wait until the end to make a final verdict, but I agree with most of what you're saying. After watching…
the show… & so far I get what the director tried to portray with her character. But still the acting for me has been a little stiff. I’m not saying I could do better. Her character is written well but in the whole show her acting was 😕 meh… IDK I’m missing a little flavor…heck even the grand Prince acting was more stood out more (that kid has a bright future ahead of him).But as you say I will wait to be surprised within future episodes.
So I’m still on episode 10… I just had to vent about the female lead. Yes she is an absolute stunner and but how could she be so stiff in her acting. Next to the male lead’s impeccable acting, it’s so frustrating to have her next to him. Like even just being pretty is not enough.
Argh… this is such a good show though. They did well by casting the male lead, a weaker actor + the female lead would have totally destroyed a great show.
