That'd have been pretty great (no pun intended. lol). I'd have enjoyed watching her with great. This lakorn really crapped on my mood.

Oh, okay. So it's the same director. I usually don't notice a lot of things in dramas. God knows what I watch for!

I didn't mean he had a lily white character sheet. I actually meant by faultfree that they were gods and they acted like so. All of them. Swaggering around, mostly, selfishly doing what they want, smiting ones who wronged them. YH was this celestial hostuff son of a god-father whose birth was celebrated with rainbows and a million special birds singing and all that shindig, I don't remember the exact details. He came wise since he was the soul of MY's dead twin brother. He was never criticized, censured or punished for his own actions. Because apparently he did nothing wrong ever except for that one time contrabanding susu in his life. But he was not punished for it, directly ay least. That was the one time he seemed vulnerable and helpless when he was trying to save susu in any way possible. And obviously the way he chose was barbaric. And the other time he seemed vulnerable was when he was worried about BQ not loving him but MY. But JC was accused of the things he didn't to, criticized so many times, challenged for his status, punished etc. And like YH his love didn't escalate that quickly. He was, in fact, cruel to LX in the beginning. When he locked her up in the cold chamber that was IT for me. I wanted his heart to be skewered and roasted at least 3-4 times before he got together with her. And he suffered for it, to my great satisfaction. When he realised his love for lx, which happened slowly, he was fumbling at romance asking ways from YF and that star God. He was not armed and arranged like YH at loving, wooing, obsessing, and stalking. He was more human that way. Not confident.

Same goes for LX. BQ was a badass unforgiving unapologetic borderline barbaric-when-need-be High goddess. And I enjoyed every bit of her character in spite of yang mi. Especially when she gouged the eyes outta that celestial b****. LX was this doe eyed naïve basic-immortal who wanted to explore the world out of her world. She suffered a lot along the way, fell in love and matured, gradually. Neither of them as dark and cruel as YH and BQ. They are a lot toned down. In Ten miles yh was younger than bq and it's vice versa here. The scene here where the palace maids of Lx were talking about how old JC was reminded me of the similar scene in tmopb where the maids were bitching about bq being a lot older than yh.

A lot of people are saying Jc-NN chemistry is not as hot as MC-YM. I found them hot inspite of Jc not being as horny, aggressive and obsessed as yh. If he were, I would've probably taking an ice-bath in the middle of the night. I saw a interview in English of CC and then the trailer of his new movie with NN and my oh my, is he yum or what! In his contemporary clothes, his unshaved face, and a swathe of hair falling on his forehead, he is gorgeous. I wanna watch him in a contemporary drama. And the much talked about one, crouching tiger. From the day I heard the name I thought I know this movie from somewhere. Does this have Jet Li by any chance?

About pillow book, I like reba and vengo, even though her character and the voice annoyed the crap out of me in ten miles. Reba tends to get this not so ear-pleasing voices for voice artists (no offence).

I was mainly in for great. I agree with you about bua playing the heroine. But then she'd have been reduced to a small screen time. I think she took a chance with this role, seeing her past performances, and she did it right. I don't wanna say this but what the hell... I think diana is very beautiful and an alright actress but she lacks that draw to hold the screen.

I still like TMOPB more probably for the pace and the continuous conflicts. I love Mark to the moon and etc etc, but got to say Jc seems more human when in love. I love CC, acting and face. I find scenes of him jealous, fumbling and sulking quite funny whereas YH was so perfect and faultfree like how a god is supposed to be. He never made me laugh. I like Jc's version of falling in love a lil better since it makes him seem like almost human. And since I don't like yang mi, nn is fabulous to me. JX's character was drawing sympathy from me until he decided to off LX's mother. I mean, whaaaa! I don't check writers or anything else. Should I? You are so right about the jof in 3l3w universe thing. I wanted so much for them to romance and kiss in jof since I love both WH and ZZ and also a big fan of a-lot-of-kisses. They had tension going on between them that could light up a small town. But nay... just gotta leave me wanting. Right! Sadist peeps!

Is weird that I want Qing Yao to be with her star husband! He's so cute. And they kept playing that beautiful song on their flashback scenes and when he's dying.

I don't know whether the people that watch cdramas watch kdramas too or not. Because if they are avoiding this because a gazillion years old mature god doesn't have a baby face, they would've never watched mr sunshine.

What did people want! An immortal god of war with a face of 16-year-old? People at first talked crap about mark chao too when TMOPB came out. Apparently he was not godly-handsome enough for the role of ye hua. He shut everyone's mouth with his godly acting. First time watching Chang Chen and his acting is amazing and he's hot to boot. He suits teh character like. I may not like the show as much as TMOPB but surely do love the leads.

I didn't gather any similarity from the description. It sounded more like Journey of a flower. But it was promoted as a TMOPM spinoff, I guess. No matter, I wanted to watch in any case. It is so talked about.Never saw the actors before. But, I like them already.

Yes she did. And so did the other heroines in these kinda dramas. Like the one with Bella and great and the latest one James and Yaya (sorry, bad with names). But there was a lovestory that transcended time even when the girl misunderstood the lover and became evil. They were given a third life to be together and happy. Here he just flicked away his past life love and went to fairyland to chachacha with a hot angel. Thip didn't get her happy ending even in the third fourth or fifteenth life. Or at least they didn't show it. Does my venting tell you how pissed I am with the writers for the ill treatment of my mini. I dropped it like a hot piece of s*** in the middle. I don't care if he didn't get to be with angel girl either. He ruined my mood. It's a shame I love all the actors in this lakorn, just not the story.

Don't even get me started on the who's the main lead bait and switch thing. I am so effin pissed. That Joe character was hogging the whole show when I went to watch Great. it'd have been okay if he didn't overact to the point of making me hop over his scenes. And no offence to Diana, she's a beautiful girl who acts decently, but Bua is an expert. I think tha's why they gave her this role. She made it interesting. I'd have enjoyed more if mr overacting was not with her mosta the times. If you or anyone else like Masu, please don't take offence. Nothing personal. Just didn't like his acting here.

At episode 16. I don't like how Jiu Chen's treating her and Lin Xi not resisting. Please tell me she will push back and be totally indifferent to him at some point. He should also know how it feels.

First time watching him in Love and Destiny. He's gorgeous. Not many leading roles though.

I will learn mandarin to watch it if no one subs it. There are not many JBR dramas.
