Cbls have just started and look how far they've come already especially given how risky it is even to star in bls for the actors. They don't have the ease of mind like Thailand and Japan starring in bls. Yet they're doing so much. You can see that most of them really commit without inhibitions to what they've signed up for and that's commendable.

I was watching a lot of jbls until i wasn't. Lol.

Compared to the number of jbls released, the ones with good and great kisses are just a handful.


Novelist and mood indigo, 2 parts of the same story is a class apart. There was another one, forgot the name,  and the not too long ago released, a journey to killing you, which are 2 other gems, story and kiss wise. 


Personal weatherman was good and end of the world was ok too. My beautiful man, i guess was ok.

What im trying to say is cbls are just started getting made and they already have quite a few shows with good and great kisses which is remarkable given how super conservative culture they are. 


Whereas jbls are there for a longer time and Japanese shows, bls or otherwise, deal with more darker, unconventional and uncomfortable stories. They are more open than korea and china. Yet I'd say 95% of their bls or even non-bls have kisses like they didn't know what they were signing up for.

While cbls have kisses like this jbls are holding on to their seemingly bold, unconventional, dangerous, dark, sexy stories with painfully awkward chaste kisses.

I have been so looking forward to this but the comments don't give me much hope. I'll still watch bc pearl peak have some kinda volcanic eruption triggering chemistry without even kissing and i f^cking love them. I didn't like their last drama but you just can't stop looking at them...maaan!! Just hope whatever happens they don't get unshipped or imma cry for a month... already hard coping with so many fave ships breakups 😭😭😭

Oh ya abo is my most favorite cbl till date and that after going into it just bc i needed something to watch but was sure I'll drop or hate it bc revenged love was my first cbl and i dropped it midway it was so unbearable. But my devil! eliot's character was such a delicious reminder of don't judge a book by how fragile its cover appears. Lol. I watched it while airing and it was a big mistake. Waiting for every episode was torture. I plan to watch yesterday. Love the ship. Got somewhat idea about it tho. But i agree hua yong comes 2nd after fan xiao in manipulative toxicity.

My girl is like either faking a robot or playing a power bank... like what even the heck 😂😂

Now if i have to choose toxic i'll most def choose fx cos he's the standard. It was also satisfying that he got a partner who was equally stern in pushing back and was a diva. so fx got an arch. It was hella satisfying. Don't even get me started. But lufeng is literally a dumb mule. Got no cards up his sleeve. If he wasn't kidnapping and rping xiao chen I'd have felt terribly terribly bad for him and just biasedly hated xiao chen.

I don't remember the other 2 characters are from which drama. Really bad with names.

Omg are they stupid and a half!!! I was banging my head all the times their conflicts could've been resolved easily with just 2 lines of clear comm. But then I realized it wouldn't have been this spicy with a sane mature couple, would it? LOl.

So since I finished all 10 episodes I've realized 2 things. First, Lu feng is a psychopathic r@p!st who belongs in a strait jacket in a padded room and xiao chen is a wimpy noodle who deserves to be single all his life. So they make a perfect couple if you can take out the r@p> part. Second, while i usually stay away from toxic love stories i m enjoying this a lot minus the grape.

Instead of drugging xiao chen like a psychopath if lufeng just let him go he'd have come to lufeng on his own. But then the show wouldn't have been.

The soundtrack has no right to be this good💓
