Nominees have been announced for the 60th Baeksang Arts Awards!

The candidates were chosen among television shows, OTT programs, and films that aired or were released between April 1, 2023 and March 31, 2024. For series, candidates were chosen among programs that have aired at least one third of the series as of March 31.

Selected by a panel of 60 industry experts, the nominations for the 60th Baeksang Arts Awards were revealed via the ceremony's official website. Candidates were chosen from television shows, OTT programs, and films aired or released between April 1, 2023, and March 31, 2024.

Korea's most prestigious award shows, recognizing excellence in film, television, and theatre, through strict screening conducted by 60 professional evaluators, judges in the industry, and a group of experts representing TV, film, and theater through a fierce screening process.

But you sure know better than 60 industry experts.

Kim Soohyun got nominated bcoz he has been phenomenal. And maybe contenders in other categories were comparatively stronger. We never know. But it's still not fair to question his nomination just because it was the only nomination from qot.

Contents from terrestrial, general cable, OTT web from April 1, 2023 to March 31, 2024, w/ at least 4 eps & in d case of serials, works that have been broadcast for more than 1/3 as of the evaluation date are eligible for review.
To those whose asking why SooHyun is nominated.

Do you mean he should have been snubbed too, even if his performance is well deserved, just because they didn't nominate qot in any other category?

They are all just bitter souls. Isn't it very telling how none of them have a problem with other 4 actors nominated? They are undermining only Soohyun. No fingers pointed at the other 4.

It's no news some people have always been bitter about his stardom.

He is the only one who made it to the nominations from Qot. If they wanted to nominate one of those other contenders, they could have easily skipped Soohyun as well.

It just proves whatever their thoughts for qot in other categories compared to other contenders, they just couldn't ignore his performance for the best actor category.

He has been nominated for Best New Actor, Movie. Popularity awards for drama and movies are no longer separate at Baeksang. All the nominees automatically quality for popularity category. Now it's upto fans to vote.

He has a better chance of winning the main awards if ratings continue to soar and number of viewers for finale surpass 5 million. Qot ep10 has already surpassed 4.7 million viewers.

She literally says hyunwoo was fool to believe her, which means she knows she failed to keep her promise. She just doesn't have the guts to apologize to him on his face.

You are literally making things up to glorify her wrongs. There has been no mention of her grandiose purpose anywhere in the show. Please be serious. You comment is too funny and delusional.

Hyunwoo knew and backed out when he found out about her true identify. That's when she chased him and promised she would never hurt him or make him cry and that's how they got married. But she failed miserably to keep her promises.

After all that he has been through, you still find a way to blame hyunwoo for his own suffering??

Atp in the story, the reason for haeins personality and behavior doesn't matter. She has to overcome it and show some change to build a healthy relationship with hyunwoo.

I will stop condemning her the day she shows fulfilling character growth. Ep10 is too late already.

Why should I stop watching a show where every other character except FL is great and I find the plot interesting? I just don't give a damn about the love story coz seems writer herself doesn't care enough about it, by creating such imbalance between FL and ml.

If the fl is tortured by in laws and husband, oh she must take revenge and evryone will cheer for her. But if ml is tortured by fl and her family, he must endure it all like a doormat and even put his evrything at stake to save the same worthless, ungrateful family from villains.Don't be hypocrite guys! it's not cool.

It's a fact many people tend to trivialize or justify hae ins flaws, using the excuse of her environment and family background.

In reality, her behavior is disgusting. The way she ordered audit checks on him, had him tailed hacked his phone, got a hold of his financial transactions, hyunwoo could sue her for violation of privacy. He can also sue her for workplace harassment. But since he chooses to ignore all of this and comes across as a bigger person, many people also tend to ignore it.

Haein is being viewed from hyunwoos lens. And that lovesick guy refuses to see beyond her illness.

I would actually be happy if one of them dies towards the end. The relationship has nothing but toxicity in it for hyunwoo. He is just too good for haein.

Not saying a nice word and deliberately saying hurtful words are two completely different scenarios.

And all those things she is doing with his family, is just because she has no choice. If she really cared, she would have made more efforts to get to know them during the course of their marriage.

Fast??? You gotta be kidding. 9 episodes gone and we have seen nothing from her.

Every character needs growth bcoz this is a story of failed marriage between flawed characters. If one develops while other doesn't, the relationship is bound to fail again.

Also, we have enough of excuses about her family background. We can't be doing it each and everytime until the end of the shoe.

Rising above and beyond that is what character growth is.
