I liked the atmosphere and warm cinematography, but it definitely shouldn't be described as a feel-good show.…
Yes, I agree. The acting, cinematography, and even most the dialogue were all good, which is why I continued to finish it. But it was not a feel-good series from beginning to end.

If you want to feel depressed, sad, and hopeless for the next 16 hours, watch this. While I was watching it, I kept on wanting to finish it, but after I finished it, I wondered why I did. This series did not give me any joy. LOL.

Gu hai??? Why does the name sounds so familiar? Is it from addicted??
I heard from those who read the novel that Ming was worst in the book than the series as well.

Where is everyone watching the new episode for free? I can’t find it on dramacool yet.

So far so good. Interesting for an American professional to see a bit of how filming in Thailand works. Not so…
I have to agree. The actor who played Joe is way too gorgeous to play that character. He’s the most handsome one out of everyone in the series when he’s just supposed to be a stand-in.

Wow. This movie stirred up so many of my emotions. It was a really beautiful way to end the Novelist franchise. I wanted a series that's darker and more psychological, so I started with Mood Indigo, and I'm really surprised by how fluffy it all ended up.

Just finished The Novelist, and I'm glad I watched this one first. I think I appreciate the depth and complexity of the characters in Mood Indigo more. I like the raw and mature portrayal of Kido and Kajima here. Also, because I watched this first, I was able to understand why Kajima treated Kuzuimi the way he did. Kido really messed him up

STOP! If you haven't watched any of this series yet, I need you to divert and start with Mood Indigo first. Thank you to those who suggested that I watch Mood Indigo before watching this one. I was able to enjoy it much better because I understand Kajima's backstory and how KidoKajima started and their interactions doesn’t seem so off.

Title Mood Indigo
I just completed this. I took someone’s advice and watched it before ‘The Novelist’. This feels more like a movie than a series because of how short it was, but it was good. I like bittersweet endings like this because they tug at my heartstrings. I really liked the relationship between Kido and Kajima, so I don’t know how I’ll feel about watching 'The Novelist'. Hopefully, the chemistry is just as good and the mood is as dark as this one.

God, Vee has to be the most spineless male lead I've ever watched. How this drama got such high ratings is beyond me. I'm even more frustrated that I forced myself to finish it, only to be frustrated with every episode.

So.. without any internal dialogue to know his true feelings, is the writer expecting me to root for Vee? Our male lead is two-timing them both right now.

Is there a novel for this series? I’m really curious about what was going on in Vee’s mind when he first had s** with Mark. What made him actually want to go for it when he had a girlfriend, was not drunk, and had never liked Mark before this encounter?

Joe and Sol actually really look good together.
Just finished episode 2 … WTH, I didn’t realized this show is still airing and only 1 episode per week?! Byeee, see you again in 10 weeks.
