Title Triage Spoiler
I definitely got sucked into watching this series because of the high ratings and positive reviews. However, it turned out to be forgettable. The love story was nearly nonexistent, and the chemistry was lacking. The story was interesting in the first half, but then it became repetitive. The 13 episodes had so many illogical plot holes.

Finished! Logic? We don’t know her, and for that reason, I was able to enjoy most of the series. To those who knew about this series when it aired but took no interest in it, like myself, I do recommend giving it a chance.

Episodes 1-9 were excellent! Highly amusing and entertaining with a well-paced storyline. The chemistry between the two leads were off the chart! However, after episode 9, the acting quality fell apart, especially for the supporting character, Tawan. His acting was not good, and he didn’t look good with Kinn or Vegas. I’m currently on episode 11, hoping it will get better in the upcoming episodes.

I agreed. To me, this was a happy ending, not an open one. There is no need for further interpretation. The flowers represent the girls, and they came back.

That was common in the Qing Dynasty. Aristocratic marriages were just to form alliances. They even married their own cousins, let alone two non-related sisters. We can't use our 21st-century mentality to watch these dramas.

Who does the FL end up with? The fourth prince or the eighth prince? I'm kind of confused, lol! Thanks!
4th… but it’s a tragedy so eventually none. lol

This is my first time watching Liu Yu Ning play the lead. Wow, he's a natural, but after all these years, Liu Shi Shi's acting still leaves much to be desired. It makes it hard for me to want to finish.

That kind of misses the point of giving a rundown and thoughts on different parts of a series for potential viewer who actually want to know if it’s worth their time. But ok…

No one is forcing viewers to watch a 39-episode series to write a review. However, if you're going to review for an entire drama, you should at least watch it so you can form an informed opinion. Some of the reviews simply sound like they belong in the comments section rather than being considered as genuine reviews.

That's quite odd. It sounds a bit immature and comes off as somewhat of a hater, in my opinion. No matter if the reviews are good or bad, they are all welcomed as long as you've seen the drama and can offer a thorough evaluation of it.
On The Legend of Shen Li Apr 7, 2024
Mydramalist should make it mandatory that in order to write a full review, you need to watch at least half of the drama. Some people out here watch just two episodes of a 39-episode series and are able to write a review on it. How can you even fully review it if you haven’t even watched the majority of the series? It's essential to have a substantial viewing experience to provide an informed and fair assessment.

How does one even review a 39 episodes drama after just watching 3 episodes? Normal people would just drop and move on. Lol

I can't be the only one because who loves Shen Li's parents story 🤍🥺🤭
It was really cute. I usually skip these back stories but their love story was really sweet and cute.

In a refreshing twist on the typical narrative arc, the production dedicate an entire episode to what comes after the climactic showdown. It’s great because you get to see how everyone’s doing once the problem’s sorted out. It adds more depth to the story and keeps you hooked even after it’s over.
