I want to tell you that the way she's acting is based on the novel, and the director wanted her to portray the role of a 20 year old girl like ; she’s meant to be an extremely sheltered 'glasshouse' girl. It feels off-putting at first, but it makes Mumu’s character growth later on so much more satisfying to watch. You’ll definitely see her mature as the stakes get higher!
Stick with it for the chemistry—it only gets better. I’d love to hear your final thoughts once you’ve finished!

The way the didn't prepare any promotional activities or events for them is so sus . I HATE IQIYI for doing that with them, they deserved the same treatment as the other artists and dramas .

I couldn't agree more. Jin Zhao’s pain was so palpable that it transcended the typical 'noble idiocy' trope—it felt like a raw and heartbreaking necessity for him. I also felt that the separation lasted a bit too long for my poor heart to handle, but seeing them finally reunite made it all the more rewarding. He’s definitely a character that stays with you long after the credits roll.

Exactly! She's such a great actress who gives it her all when acting with her co-stars bcuz its not easy to create such electric chemistry if you are not hard-working or professional enough .
