Seeing Nie Xiguang cry over ZX is the hardest part of this drama. Girl, wipe those tears!!! He is too wrapped up in his own insecurities and 'pride' to realize what a gem he’s losing.
Someone (LYS) needs to tell her that his inability to love her properly is his loss, not hers .
I find Zhuang Xu’s behavior really pathetic because he clearly has feelings for her but chooses to be rude and cold instead of just being honest.
I do feel a bit sad for him sometimes, as he is clearly suffocating under the weight of his family’s pressure and his mother’s constant, heavy expectations. However, it's hard to root for a character who uses his own pride and difficult circumstances as an excuse to be disrespectful to someone who genuinely liked him. Expecting Nie Xiguang to just forgive him after that interview charade, without a real apology, just shows how much he lacks emotional maturity. He wants her attention, but he projects all his own insecurities onto her.
