Haha, ik it's funny at first glance bcuz i was also confused when i watched it for the first time but now i'm not anymore after rewatching and reading the novel bcuz now i can understand why Chi Cheng's obsession with snake isn't weird as snakes are not considered just some random creatures in Chinese culture, they symbolize wisdom, renewal, and deep emotions . In the drama, they're key metaphors for his vulnerable side beneath the cold exterior, the trust issues, and bond with Wu Suo Wei and there's more to it but i don't want to spoil the story ( you will have to watch the later eps for more better understanding ) .

So yeah the snakes are basically the third main character in the CC & WSW relationship dynamics .

All the 5 Love (X)perts are really good at conversation and literally no one was overreacting while watching the couple's date ( that's what i liked the most about the experts ) and they are so funny with their comments that I ended up laughing so muchh

just finished watching the 2 eps and all i can say is WOWWW , DAMNNNN !!! Just watch it if you really like dating shows , its so so sooo much better than Korean ones imo . Everyone is friendly and are taking care of eo well instead of Fighting over the girls .
The contestants are straight, bisexual, and ( ik there's someone who is gay too but i just can't prove it yet lol so we just have to wait for them to tell themselves ) and like they can date anyone , there's no restriction . So yeah i liked it and i'm eagerly waiting for Saturday to come quickly T-T
