They used the most famous and respected figure on their history, and write the figure' character the opposite of what Korean have learned. Things are not getting escalated this fast if they made their own characters, even if the family lineage will resemble the real one, they can clearly say that all charas are fiction.

But there're many inaccuracies and the questionable thing is why they used famous real life figures for a full fantasy story. They should just do like Kingdom, with a fiction character set in historical settings. + And also these days, there are a lot of bad sentiment towards china from koreans so it's a sensitive time.

I think some comments are a bit too harsh because the disappointment is certainly present, even for me. I personally enjoyed some episodes, and then felt nothing much happened in other eps. It's not the best sports drama out there, but you can try watch several eps to, then, decide whether to continue or not :)

It's supposed to be more bromance and sport, but the latest eps have been focused on the supporting cast more than the main lead, which is such a pity. The chemistry between two leads are really good and fun but their screentime until recent eps is minimal. For me, I still continue watching it.

EP 18 - so far, ep 17 and 18 are ones of the most enjoyable and best episodes for me! With Kenan pig farming, and Xu Tan with boxers lol but sad because Lao Lei had to leave for good.

EP 17 I NEED TO APPRECIATE YU KENAN AND XU TAN'S CONFLICT! that was such a good conflict (?) even tho they failed to be in the first team this time. That's what make sports drama exciting.

they have diff genre, so you can watch them at the same time based on your mood that day hahaha i don't get confused with bai bai's characters here and there, it's really nice! I don't know his other drama, but I watched his movie Yesterday Once More and it's quite enjoyable (especially seeing the weak student bai bai).

I was just getting scared of how ke nan lost in the first game, but I really hope it's just a false start like the other reply. I expected to have their romantic partner to be their additional motivation to win or do better job, for ex. a scene where kenan and cai wei indirectly compete in running track and also when they became training partner.

I still think it's a bit fast for their romance, but maybe it's because romance is not their main focus. That reason may makes Xu Tan's romance part also didn't feel like one hahaha.

Well, yeah, let's just wait and see for my concern to be wrong.

ep 15-16, i didn't really like the romance development between ke nan and the girl. they were cute but i think it's a bit in rush in the latest eps... I just hope his relationship won't really affect his performance in a long term, it will be such a cliche imho

Finished watching 8 eps and I like it so far! First episode, first scene got me hooked, and after that it is less intense but still enjoyable. I am waiting for the bromance between xu tan and yu ke nan become stronger.

If you know that the writer herself has the similar background of the education and career, it is not too impossible to happen. but i guess, the drama is still a drama after all, it will show us a story that we found unrealistic.
