Wow, you don't have to like the article or agree with how they went about the genres, by all means throw some constructive criticism their way if you want to but really there is absolutely no need to be so condescending about it. It's unpleasant and uncalled for. Users on this site write articles like this for fun, and for free. So a bit of respect towards the authors would be nice, for the amount of effort put into it if for nothing else.
From what I've seen, they went by the genres as listed on MDL. As this article is published on MDL, going by the genres listed on MDL is a valid choice. If you are so unhappy about it, maybe try writing an article yourself? Just a thought ...
