I wonder why he targets Ming (lures her to trust and befriend him) and Thana (kidnapped and set him up to be 'the…
Actually both are killers - Chayan and Thana. Both of are not innocent at all. They both know each other since they were young -- and likes killing ppl for stupid reasons. If you watch more - esp in ep 15 & 16 you will know the reason why. Horrible people -- but thankfully they both die in the end after the encounter with Ming -- and then Da is seriously injured b/c of him trying to rescue Ming from the hands of these two ppl. Strangely -- Chayan actually fell in love with Ming -- and so he dies from Thana trying to kill her and Thana got killed by the Captain Prach I think -- just in time before he tries to kill Ming during that fight scene -- so messed up guys. But then again -- Ming is an ultimate failure too -- falls in love with 2 serial killers. *face palmed*
Also, I don't trust the chief officer too. Something is not right about him -- as Prach finds out that someone in the police force is considered an "insider/mole/traitor" of the police department of his. Let's just hope that my deductions won't lead to that fact... *treading the dangerous waters especially when a police force member isn't being honest of his work -- should be found, arrested and locked away in jail too*
Actually, I was wary about Ming in the beginning, since I have watched tons of crazy b*tches who like MLs in Thai…
Agree!! Esp when she's not telling the truth!! She's lying and not being honest about her past relationship with Thana. She should not be part of this investigation and she's hiding things ABT him too (esp his past with her, etc). Really be put on administrative leave or be suspended for her actions!!
Argh -- I can't stand Bai Xue Lu -- she's power hunger and would do anything - to harm others -- even if it's her own sister too! Disgusting! Also, can't stand her trying to throw out Zhu Yan too.
Also, I totally dislike the Concubine Qing and the Emperor -- the ex-father of Shi Ying! He's a complete jerk! Continues to want to kill his own son (when he finds out that the new Priest is actually him). Horrible...not sure why he wants him to be killed -- afraid to lose his ruling power?!? Whatever it is -- I dislike these two people including Bai Xue Lu and Shi Ying's master too. These four has hidden/power tripping hunger to overthrow people for their own good. Plus the ice clan and the "dragon" is up to no good either. Ugh.
Anyhow, I do hope that Shi Ying and Zhu Yan can overcome all these horrible selfish people and stop them all! With Lord Chong Ming, Qing Gang, Bai Xue Ying, Zhi Yuan, and Shi Yu -- I think these guys deserve to live and not go against each other - but form a bond like -- Blood of Youth guys would do -- would be kinda nice. *wishful thinking*. Hopefully, these guys won't die along the way...
*will wait & see* - my 2-cents worth of input on this drama thus far (watched up to ep 16). Don't bash me for this input here.
As many mentioned here -- Xu Qin's life is really misunderstood by all. The current parents that she has now are not her real parents -- they are her adoptive parents - and the adoptive mother is the most cruel, controlling, manipulative parents there is -- especially towards the two kids. She has so much control that she can access the children's bank accounts, forcing to get married by the people she chooses, their career life, etc. The adoptive father on the otherhand, I can see he's trying to be more of the supportive side for the two kids - but hard to do so -- cause he's also at times being controlled by his wife -- and in my opinion - his wife is toxic and should've never been married together. I honestly wished that Xu Qin wasn't adopted by this family -- this family is controlling from the beginning -- of her life when she was adopted at the hospital. The adoptive mother said everything she had was dirty and threw everything away -- not even caring as much how the child actually feels when something the kid has own all her life is being tossed away like that-- that's a very psychological damage to her life already -- let alone all those years she has to live like that around her adoptive mother. it's horrendous! I'm glad she went abroad and came back to be a decent surgeon/doctor -- but even so, her adoptive mother is still controlling her life -- even when she's grown up. I can't wait until she is completely free from that adoptive controlling family of her's. It's really dragging her down -- ruining it to the point -- where she doesn't exactly know how to live her life properly -- to have friends, etc around her to can love her properly -- the love that she's longing for.
As for the relationship b/w the two of them - Xu Qin and Song Yan -- well, I'm certain it will be clear out eventually - I'm certain to say that he did tried to be in touch with her after their breakup when they were young -- but was stopped by Xu Qin's adoptive mom - we see enough flashbacks to see that his letters got burned everytime it was sent to her adoptive parents' place. As for Xu Qin being drunk and having the courage to explain her pain that she's been suffering all these years -- being kept in the dark (b/c of her adoptive mom's control) - as that's what she thinks happened but isn't exactly the truth -- makes her breakdown very easily. This scene totally makes me cry alongside with her and for Song Yan too. Now that he understands how she truly feels - I'm certain that they will find ways to clearup all those misunderstandings b/w the two and make up.
As for Song Yan and Suo Jun's friendship b/w the two -- I hope down the road -- that there'd be a chance we can see them again somehow/somewhere. I'm glad that Suo Jun's fiance made up with him and decided to take him home. Let's hope that their relationship will work out properly too. Plus, I do hope Suo Jun can recover properly and have a happy life. Miss him already!
P.S. Please no more hate towards the actors/actresses in this story - esp towards to 2 main leads, thanks.
My 2-cents review of this drama thus far (watched up to ep 10 already).
such women shouldn't have children at all how can someone be so cruel man I can't even look at her mother without…
Xu Qin's parents - are not her real parents -- they are her adoptive parents. Her parents died a long time ago. Her adoptive mother is the most controling person ever!! Super manipulative and overcontrolling to the point that there's no room for the 2 kids to breathe.
same here. I love all the special messages it came with the story of them too. This drama was definitely another…
Well - ok we'll leave it at that. Don't wanna pick an argument here - I didn't watch that drama of her's yet. So, I really can't comment on it. To each own's favorite kissing scenes that Zhao Lu Si had in any drama of hers.
We all have our differences/preferences on everything - not everyone will agree or disagree with something. So, let's stop here and not push anything on anyone. *cheers* *peace out*
I literally cried while watching episode 8. I really feel sad for what happen to Suo Jun. He was planning to stay one more year with his buddy + partner in the firefighting team of theirs. But because of a major firefighting incident that left him badly burnt & injured - he's forced to retired from the team and put into the "Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development" department instead. Watching this part of the drama really made me cry alongside with him.
Then, we have Song Yan blaming himself for not paying attention and not knowing what his buddy-supervisor did before the incident happened -- him deciding not to transfer or go home back to his parents -- but to stay together with him to fight for the team cup competition + do what he truly loves to do (Suo Jun's decision before the incident happened -- he just rescued a girl who originally wanted to commit suicide b/c life wasn't being nice to her at all). Seeing Song Yan crying and blaming himself for his buddy's injures makes them both sadden & heartbroken at the same time. Especially for Suo Jun - b/c of his injuries - his firefighting dream dashed in front of his eyes. Yes, he's lucky to be alive - but severe injury to his right arm and face - put him out of commission as a firefighter and become a desk worker instead. Watching him losing his honor supervisor badges from his jacket and changing to a normal badge made him cried a lot -- and so did I too.
Although, he is retired -- I do hope we'll still see more of him further in the drama (as now he's no longer listed as guest role but as a support role in the drama instead). As he has been a very supportive friend/partner in the firefighting team alongside with Song Yan. Also, hopefully - he will cheer and guide Song Yan's life - in terms of his relationship with Xu Qin. Though now that he's injured not sure how he will take care of his ailing parents too. Will wait and see.
Aside from those two -- my overall observation on the 2 main leads- Song Yan & Xu Qin - both have a very tragic past - when they were young -- and maybe because of this they were attracted to each other when they were young. But as for Xu Qin's adoptive family - I actually don't completely like them at all. Very controlling and neat-clean freaks - especially her adoptive mom. Nor do I exactly like her adoptive brother too... when he was young - he was ok (as a kid) but when he grows up - he's also very controlling too of Xu Qin's life - not being understanding person at all.
For Song Yan -- his aunt and cousin are not exactly that kind either -- maybe b/c of the misunderstandings that was cause by Xu Qin's adoptive family back then -- for what they did to them both (well more like Xu Qin's family was very manipulative and controling of Xu Qin's life) . Either way -- hopefully further down the road of this drama/story things will get better for the 2 of them soon too.
Anyways -- that's my 2-cents of insight of the drama thus far -- that I've seen (up to episode 8). Although I do hope that they stop time skipping so much - as if it has been cut up in pieces a lot and some of the story details goes missing, but no choice -- Chinese gov't restrictions/rules - are so hard to follow and get approval to air. Can't be helped.
Episode eight is all tears and it's beautiful the Bromance between Bin Bin and Yang Yang is one of the best brotherhood…
Actually, he changed his mind -- he didn't want to leave before he got injured. He wanted to stay for another year together with Song Yan (Yang Yang) - he thought about many things after he rescued a girl who wanted to commit sucide in a business building -- he actually didn't want to give up his supervisor role as a firefighter... but in doing so - he forgot to tell Song Yan that he was staying -- and as a result -- during another firefighting rescue situation he got caught in an fire explosion that hurt him really bad, while Song Yan was at another meeting elsewhere. Had he told him the truth - Song Yan wouldn't have felt so much guilty when he visited Suo Jun at the hospital.
Now Suo Jun is retiring from firefighting and becoming part of the staff at the "Ministry of Housing and Urban Rural Development".
same here. I love all the special messages it came with the story of them too. This drama was definitely another…
But if you listening again to the bonus part of the drama -- ep 25.5 - Zhao Lu Si said that this was one of the dramas that she had the most kissing scenes that you has ever done.
The part where she answered the question from the interviewer: "What is the sweetest scene in the drama?"
Her actual words are: "Well, all the kissing scenes. I think that this drama has the most kissing scenes among the other dramas I have acted in. When I read the novel or watch the drama, I'd find the kissing scenes really sweet."
So, yes this drama is definitely full of sweetness overload 100%
I have to share this again because it was most of the beautiful things that DJX said during the whole drama It…
same here. I love all the special messages it came with the story of them too. This drama was definitely another sweet lovely and fluffy drama all in one. I too hope one I will meet the one like SZ did with DJX. Either way, they were super sweet in the drama 100% all the way through and through!! so many romantic kissing scenes in it - like what ZLS said. It was one of her most "kissing" drama she has ever done in her life.
This day ended with all the episodes out plus a special one. I wasn't emotionally prepared to part with this drama…
Well there are many new ongoing dramas happening, such as "Fireworks of My Heart 2023; The Longest Promise 2023; Destined 2023; Twilight 2023; Exploration Method of Love 2023, etc that you can try.
So sad. Wished there was more to his character in the story. When they had promo both of them are there together a lot, so didn't expect he's only guest role in the drama . Pity. I want more screen time for them both.
I'll put my 2-cents worth of opinion here - don't bash me for it: General feedback
1. I didn't watch the cdrama version of this drama nor read the book. But that shouldn't matter at all. Why should any adaptation of the drama be the same in the first place?!? A good example is: Hana Yori Dango -- the anime book/drama version is quite different than the actual live action version. Then there's the remake of it like almost 5 times from different countries including: Taiwan, S. Korea, China (has 2 versions of it) and Thailand. Each has a different take of the story and add what they think will make the story better/interesting for the viewers to watch them. If it were exactly all the same, would anyone go and watch it? May be -- but then it won't bring enough viewers to watch it. Every remake/adaptation should be different and unique -- and should be considered a standalone version of the original story. It may take some elements from the story (novel) but not completely - otherwise it'll be a boring drama - falling flat on it's face.
2. No need to bash any of the characters/actors-actresses in the story -- they all need character development - and shouldn't be stereotyped into one category or another. Like I said above - each adaptation of the novel into a drama should be different in some ways - and no adaptation will ever be the same -- in any genre of the story/novel wise. Close but not exactly. Therefore, same goes for the characters in the story - as it goes further along, the characters themselves will change - esp the main leads and hopefully the others too. Hence, why we should not be quick to "type-set/stereotype" someone in story - has to be the same as the previous predecessors of the drama version of this story. Let the characters in each adaptatin be different and leave it at that.
3. Watch it on your own accord. Don't let others' comments here make you decide to watch it or not. Give it a real chance by watching more than just 2-3 episodes before you decide if it's worth it or not. Never judge a book/drama by it's cover cause each one should be unique and interesting to watch.
Finally, to wrap up, I've watched so far 6 episodes of it, in one sitting and fairly enjoy it quite a bit. So, enjoy it based on your own choice not by others persuading you to watch it or not. No need for all the hate out there.
She thinks he died because of her.She was a literal child when she saw another child die and she thinks it is…
Hmmm...now that you mentioned it -- that could be true -- she did blame herself when she was young -- what she thinks is her fault but that's far from the truth of what happened to him. Hmmm...anyways -- I'm just throwing it out there my thoughts -- as I'm trying to process everything in the story thus far-- I don't read the novel and just basing it as it comes out. So -- ya...that could be why she's so stubborn with the matter and also the fact he doesn't exactly understand what she was thinking of the whole situation back then anyways. Anyhow, I'll let the story play out and just keep on watching it.
It’s possible you have already saw that hairstyle because his ‘race’ is also in another drama (which is…
I don't think I saw the sequel of this drama -- so I don't think it's from that drama...thinks it's from another drama (different and not related to this series at all).
So, so love this drama thus far! Can't get enough of the sweetness b/w the two leads!! Sang Zhi and Duan Jia Xu are both super cute and adorable together -- I know there'd be some angst coming up soon - esp in regards to her family will eventual be against the two of them - and I do hope that they will both stick together - through & through -- yes Duan has a very tough family background - but I do hope this will not make them split but trust each other and stay together through it all. Super happy to watch this right now -- lighthearted and full of fluff. Better than some historical dramas that are currently airing - not that I don't like them -- but they are putting me on the edge a lot of time. haha. :P
Also, I don't trust the chief officer too. Something is not right about him -- as Prach finds out that someone in the police force is considered an "insider/mole/traitor" of the police department of his.
