Of course it is! Very cute, funny, enjoyable and fluffy all at the same time. Both main characters are a perfect match to one another. Although they at this moment (current episodes) are not in an official relationship yet -- but they are both sensitive and caring of each other. It really shows and I can't wait till they really get together! This drama is well done so far! Worth watching for sure!
Those annoying "sects" -- fake immortals are the worst in this story -- they're definitely not pure at all - but 100% selfish and messed up. Labeling ppl/spirit as evil is messed up. The Dragon King - TY is not evil at all! He doesn't deserved to be called that ever! As for YH, I'm glad she's free from being part of those "sects" -- as those ppl just brainwash you to believe that everything and anything is "evil". WTF! >.< They kill everything in the name of so-called "goodness". OMG! I wanna laugh at those pathetic "sect"' ppl. TY and YH deserves a better life without all of these ridiculous ppl. They're such a joke! I think eventually both will be killed/injured by them somehow. Let's hope that they can both get through these difficult times soon for a peaceful life.
As for the Dark Aura -- I hope that both TY & YH can actually get rid of it permanently! As that's where all these evilness come from, etc. Not from TY or YH at all.
As for BXS -- he's getting on my nerves now -- super annoying and selfish person ever! Don't care if he has Dark Aura or not -- he's pure manipulative and a complete liar countless time. Never for once do I completely trust him. He may act cute at times but his intensions are never good at all.
Let's hope that SY will not be revived ever. She's annoying as hell - manipulative, selfish, controling freak and insane. Mentally outright gone crazy. She deserves to be dead forevermore - never to be revived ever again!
Anyways, that's my 2-cents of feedback of what've seen so far of this drama up to ep 23.
1. Xiang Yuan's background is not all it seems to everyone -- as per her grandfather's request on their bet with working at Veline. Therefore, there are many things she's trying to shake up and change the company for the better in order for it not to go bankrupt and close for good. But since nobody knows the truth behind her background except her best friend and her grandfather + assistant at the headquarters... ppl think she's a nobody who wants to cause trouble especially now that Li Chi's words are trying to threaten her to stop what she's doing - especially trying to get rid of him (Li Chi) from the technical department of the company. Honestly, I agree with her -- he should leave and he's betraying the company completely - causing problems left and right with Ms. Liu. Anyways, Xiang Yuan also has a not so good past - especially in regards to her parents death -- in a major car accident -- hence why she almost fainted/passed out when being interviewed by the police about Li Chi at that time. This info also she did not share unwillingly and causing misunderstandings between her and Xu Yan Shi. With this past she will continue to cause problems between the two of them unless they both share their truth about their past with one another - otherwise, the misunderstands will continue to hold them back in trying to have a proper relationship with one another. I just wished that they both be honest with each other and not hide anything from one another.
2. Xu Yan Shi: He also has a trouble background as to why he left her back in the high school days -- his dad was always being chased by creditors (because his dad is in debt). Hence why he was forced to move away despite the fact he began to like her in the high school they were both in. He does have feelings for her since then already. Just that he had no choice but to move away and now that they are working together - he has yet to explain/tell her the truth as to why he couldn't attend her birthday celebration that time back in HS. Sigh -- with this in mind -- if they both continue to hold secrets of their past from one another -- they'll never be together any time soon. Which is kinda sad. So, let's hope they will change soon in the later episodes of this drama. I mean - it shows that he's trying to rebuild the relationship with her...but for her it's hard -- b/c there are many secrets that he has -- that he hasn't shared with her yet ... which makes Xiang Yun continue to misunderstand him and at times will suddenly go from being happy around him to getting mad at him suddenly for no reasons at all (well actually there are -- but the reasons are not credible enough - or justified/explained to her -- that's why she continues to doubt him and not trust him enough still. But then there are times that she seems to also care about him too despite her hesitating from time to time again.
3. As for Gao Leng and Chen Shu - their relationships seems to be rocky a lot of times -- especially when Chen Shu never learns to understand the real truth of why Gao Leng punches Li Chi time and time again. I don't really feel that they should even be together -- they don't seem to match each other. She's selfish and always think she's right -- when in fact Gao Leng was right in the first place. Li Chi is constantly taunting him and causing problems between the two of them. Seriously, very annoying that is happening -- I think Gao Leng deserves better and move on from Chen Shu.
4. Li Chi - argh...I am super mad at him -- he's a piece of garbage - causing problems left and right -- lying, complete traitor and think he has all the power to trash/threaten people in the company. I agree with Xiang Yuan! He should be fired from the company!! He's not even working for the technical team at all. He's actually probably a minion for Ms. Li Qin. Which I also don't trust either.
5. Li Qin is the worst enemy to the company ever - she wants the company to bankrupt and not be successful - as to why -- no idea. All I know is she's causing a lot of problems left and right - -and she too should be fired from the company along with Li Chi at the same time!! They both don't want Veline to be successful and go bankrupted! I also think she's trying to tear the company down for her own benefit or for the competitor's benefit. Whatever it is -- she's the troublemaker of all times!
6. Ying Yinyin is another lowly troublemaker too -- she's jealous of everyone -- especially against Xiang Yuan along with her so called annoying gossiping useless friends in this drama. Argh -- every time I see her on-screen, I fast forward to ignore her immature annoying personality in this story.
7. Xiang Yuan's grandpa -- now I'm not really sure if he's actually a trustworthy grandparent to Xiang Yuan. At times he does seems to help her but then are times that makes me wonder about him and his past too.
8. Xiang Yuan's parents -- all we know is that they had a very bad car accident. As to why it happened -- it's currently unknown and who cause it is another mystery that needs to be resolved soon on day too.
9. From the trailers of this drama -- it seems that the 2 main leads will eventually get together - break up and get back together again -- most likely b/c of all those misunderstandings that will happen sooner/later to them both. Also, at some point too -- Xiang Yuan's grandpa is not really happy with Xu Yan Shi being around his granddaughter - as for the reason is unknown so far but I'm certain it will be revealed later on in the drama.
10. Overall, thus far, I am liking this drama a lot -- as from time to time - we do get to see a lot of sweet and cute moments that the 2 main leads share with one another despite the misunderstandings that they have with one another. Gives me a nice break away from the historical dramas of late -- that seems to have a lot of sad endings to their stories or heartbreaking times between to two main leads.
Anyways, sorry for all the spoilers -- these are just my observations of each of the characters in the drama thus far being shown. No need to bash me about them. *Peace out* Continue to enjoy watching the drama - it's definitely worth watching -- but don't compare this drama with others please. It's really frustrating to read -- when ppl become super judgemental or have high expectation of a drama -- not going the same way as other dramas -- come on ppl -- it's a different storyline - so please leave it alone! Ok? I really detest ppl comparing this drama to "You Are My Glory" or "Romance of the Little Forest" or "Perfect and Casual". This is a standalone drama -- it has a huge different vibe/storyline to it. So, stop putting unreasonably high expectations or demands on it, please. Why must everyone start comparing dramas - it's not necessary and very unrealistic. Give this drama a break please! >.< Watch it without stereotyping the drama against other dramas that have been released already - and stop comparing the dramas that the actors/actresses have acted in the past too. I totally love this drama a lot! Very cute and lots of fun plus sweetness too! As well all the songs in this drama is great! I think both of them sing the songs in this drama!! Wish I can download these songs and add them to my music list!! Wish they can make it available on Spotify too!
Why can't people take a chill pill and chillax! Come on -- let's breathe in and out and calm ourselves down. No need to scold the actors/actresses/directors/etc for everything that happened in ep 16. Not necessary. I, myself had watch a ton of historical dramas for a long time and today's episode -- like most ppl say 'it's a walk in the park' feeling. It's not the worst that I've seen - not even close! After watch TTEOTM, Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms, Ashes of Love, Love Like The Galaxy, etc -- this one is milder than the rest of past historical dramas that I've seen. It's bound to happen - if it doesn't happen - how will the character grow in the drama? If nothing serious happens -- it'll become a boring drama -- and you'll complain again ... or too much romance in the drama/comedy -- you think it's not serious enough -- the usual trope...etc. Give this drama a break -- give the casts/directors/writer a break. No need for bashing/hate/etc. It's not necessary ok? Just enjoy the story/ride and let the story/drama develop. Not all drama adaptations of the original novel/book has to follow it exactly - it can change to make the story more interesting. Ok?!? Let's all cool down, eat some ice cream/chocolate ... and calm down, thanks.
it was a good fast pace drama -- can't wait for season 2. Seems like the two male leads care about her - and it also seems like both want to protect her too - but depite that they either got injured badly or died...whatnot...but I do hope they will release a season 2 soon based on where the last episode states there'd be a season 2 soon after season 1 finished. I like the actor who plays the main lead here -- watched a few of his dramas already... well done, Richard Li! The most annoying is the supposedly Immortal female lead in the Immortal realm -- but she's jealous as fxxx and constantly wants to kill her -- like she's not pure at all. Always seeking to kill the main FL constantly - whether she's the devil or not. So, when she's killed in the mortal realm by the main FL (Meng Fu Sheng) if she really died or not. Plus I do hope there'd more screen time for the main ML (Jing Yuan) and the 2nd ML too (Qing Chen) -- it's as if the "more revenging FL" gets more screen time than the rest of the characters -- a bit lopsided.

Well from what I understand -- Mu Chen already fell in love with her over time (despite the fact at the beginning he didn't completely like it at first bcos Xia Yu told him to restrain himself from falling in love with her -- but eventually grown to really like/love her) -- each time he goes rescues her, you can hear in his voice that he really cares for her. He will do everything he can to protect her including taking revenge on her behalf, etc. He stated many times that Xia Yu is his woman ...and that he also got jealous when he thought his brother(An Shao) likes her too and also when he found out that Xia Yu was trying to seduce his brother but not him -- he also got jealous about it as well. So, to be honest -- he long have fall for Xia Yu when he told Lin Anbai - that used to be with him for 10 years -- that he has no more feelings for her and that his destiny/encounter with Xia Yu has changed who he is.
Also, I think when they show a flashback of him on the rocky shoreline -- and a girl who rescued him at that time was probably also the Xia Yu too. To be honest he doesn't want to break up with her but actually wanted to marry her for real. Even he told his assistant to plan the wedding venue in according that what Xia Yu actually likes and helps her choose the wedding dress, etc. He never once wants to break up with her -- but it was his so-called grandpa that wants to ruin his life/control him even though so-called "step down" from the company he had be in control of so long. His grandpa is the worst one of all -- manipulative, controling him, wants to kill him, throw him in the ocean when he was ten years old, etc! Mu Chen is actually being treat as nothing but a "pawn" in his eye. The grandpa never truly cares for him after the Mu Chen's parents passed away. After some time, I even think Chief Chuan - realizes this problem too - cause he said to him - "I don't recognize you anymore -- so are more a stranger than whom I've been serving so long" - meaning he doesn't trust this manipulative grandfather Mu Chen's anymore too.
So, my guess at the ending scene -- Mu Chen ran away from the arrange marriage to this other girl that the so-called grandpa organized and go after Xia Yu to marry her instead because he actually loves her a lot and cares for her the most -- cause he said so many times that he will protect her at all cost (over the course of the drama) and will not break that promise. His feelings for her are real - so when the Xia Yu walked away from that moment that she found out the truth of "the grandpa of Mu Chen's" -- he actually broke down and cried. Cause Xia Yu's influenced him in so many ways and the little moments he had with her actually shows that he loves her -- he tried so many times to tell her the truth that it's no longer a fake marriage -- which at first he originally thought it to be - but over time - the moments he begins to have feelings for her become real and he changed his mind into wanting to make this marriage for real and not fake anymore.
Therefore, getting back to your question to is it real or not? I think it's real. He truly loves her and ran away from the "grandpa arrange marriage" to go and proposed to Xia Yu instead -- to marry him, cause if you look carefully, the suit that he is wearing when he came to her at the beach where Xia Yu was... was actually the one that Xia Yu chose for him at the "wedding clothing shop" that they both were at before all the mess that the "grandpa" made. He proposed to her in "that suit" that Xia Yu chose and not any other suit that someone else chose for him. Plus the dress that she was wearing (Xia Yu's) -- was the one that Mu Chen gave to her at the beginning of their relationship too (supposedly fake marriage but turn out to be real relationship where both of them fall in love with one another)...
As a result, the ending may be rushed - but that's how I see it and observed throughout the whole drama. Even at one point his brother (An Shao) supports their relationship too by helping them find the person they were looking for (the address) because he wants them both to really find happiness with one another ....and also when An Shao realizes the mistake he made when Xia Yu ended up getting into trouble at the fishing village -- he also took revenge for Xia Yu too.
*My two cents worth of observation and guess of the drama ending* Watch it on your own accord again and for those who haven't watch it -- give it a try and see if you actually like it or not. Short drama - but I actually enjoy it.
With a promise of spesial edition and that trailer... I'm afraid it just an interview with some cut from entire…
I feel that the special edition will be something similar on the line of what "The Starry Love" drama did -- have them at a fan-meet and they enact the possible ending that they were supposed to have in the drama (that's my guess only).
I completely agree- those biased people around TTJ- including LSS are worse than him. Not one person gives him…
I just wished that they really learn to see him as he is...not just because he (future/super past of him) was "supposedly be the DG/DG's fetus" whatnot. Wished they are not like you say "overly judgemental/bias/sterotyped" him to who he really is. But honestly -- be honest with him and stop giving him misunderstandings/false hopes. Why can't most of them come clean with him?? I dislike ppl "labeling" others before even getting to know who he truly is. I mean TTJ works so hard to change for the better -- not the worst for Ye Si Wu -- afterall she had taught him in his mortal life -- and technically survived that life of his 500+ years later too. I also really wish to get rid of the "inner torturing voice supposedly from DG spirit that's left inside of him" for good -- a be really given a good chance to live a happier life than what he has gone through all these years. Wanna *hug* him and protect him too. But not in the painful way that YSW did.
With the fact that everyone except his master and LSS that cares about him -- and may be Ye Ji Wu and Bai Yu that could care about him (TTJ) but prevented them from being saved from the punishment by others -- shouldn't have to die. But the rest -- honestly they are worst than TTJ! Actually makes me think they are the "devil" that caused TTJ's downfall and forced to be admitted for the fact he is the "Demon's devil fetus". I mean TTJ knows the fact and wants to desparately change his course of his life -- but for those who are super selfish/ego-centric/think they're always right -- is ruining TTJ for having the opportunity to change. At one point while they were originally all going against him (including his master) -- at one point stopped doing that and remain TTJ to calm down his mind and let it return to normal -- but by doing that -- it ended up him being locked onto that particular control "demon ridiance" tower -- and it hurts him more than being zapped by the others. I hope that LSS will awake soon enough to go rescue him from the so-called punishment that he doesn't deserve at all... So, tbh -- I feel totally sad for TTJ -- he doesn't deserve it and shouldn't be forced into something he doesn't want to be -- esp when LSS (Ye Si Wu) made him realize that there's more to life -- than the path of darkness. He was trying to get a grip of being a better person who can love, care and help others -- and not the other way around. Therefore, I do hope that this drama will get a happy ending despite the fact he will end up sacrificing himself in the process of it -- somewhere down the road in this story -- also I still don't trust Di Man at all. He has a very bad hidden agenda.

And that tower scene isn't actually completely caused by Tantai Jin -- but the other guy Tantai Ming Lang. He's the worst! He should be killed!! Argh!! Plus yes -- Ye Ye Bing Chang should die! Who cares -- I'm sure Tantai Jin would choose Ye Xi Wu no matter what. But then again Ye Xi Wu (aka Li Su Su) is not there to be saved...cause her mission is to kill/remove that so-called devil bone in him... which makes their relationship complicated. Nonetheless, Tantai Jin still loves her no matter what she does too. He doesn't want to lose her in the end.
Sigh...so slow with Eng subs! Here it says up to ep 20 and ep 21 is suppose to come soon. But only found up to 18 without subtitles. The rest are missing?!?

I have a feeling that because of China's latest restrictions, the original drama length must have been longer and they (the director) had to cut out some scenes in order to be allowed to air on WeTV. This happens a lot with Cdramas if you are not aware of this matter.

I feel like she won't because she's arrested and thrown into jail. How can she possibly return again, doesn't make sense at all. NVM I just saw the other trailers and later on she will return b/c the bad guy took her out of the jail and will be using her again -- to go against the main ML and FL again... sigh... but there will definitely be quite some angst coming up soon b/w the 2 main leads as expected despite the fact that they loved each other and married too. Always good things don't last long for the 2 of them.

He truly loves her and ran away from the "grandpa arrange marriage" to go and proposed to Xia Yu instead -- to marry him, cause if you look carefully, the suit that he is wearing when he came to her at the beach where Xia Yu was... was actually the one that Xia Yu chose for him at the "wedding clothing shop" that they both were at before all the mess that the "grandpa" made. He proposed to her in "that suit" that Xia Yu chose and not any other suit that someone else chose for him. Plus the dress that she was wearing (Xia Yu's) -- was the one that Mu Chen gave to her at the beginning of their relationship too (supposedly fake marriage but turn out to be real relationship where both of them fall in love with one another)...
As a result, the ending may be rushed - but that's how I see it and observed throughout the whole drama. Even at one point his brother (An Shao) supports their relationship too by helping them find the person they were looking for (the address) because he wants them both to really find happiness with one another ....and also when An Shao realizes the mistake he made when Xia Yu ended up getting into trouble at the fishing village -- he also took revenge for Xia Yu too.
*My two cents worth of observation and guess of the drama ending* Watch it on your own accord again and for those who haven't watch it -- give it a try and see if you actually like it or not. Short drama - but I actually enjoy it.
