What an entrance for Dai Gao -- he's now back as Tang Zi Feng -- but before the grand entrance at Mr. Li's place - when he was in the shadows - while Ye Qing Lan was trying to hatch a revenge plan against Mu An Cheng for what he did to Mu An He...after she left he appeared and Mr. Li greeted him as 2nd Master (meaning he wasn't dead to begin with -- he must've either escape his death by faking it so that later on he can revenge for himself & Ye Qing Lan at the same time.

As well, just as Ye Qing Lan -- when to bathe b/c of the paint that landed on her head -- it just so happened it forced her into the same bath as where Tang Zi Fang/Mu An He was. Hopefully, he will tell her to truth & help him hide his identity + plan to revenge together at the same time. Either way - let's hope that Mu Au Cheng won't find out the truth so fast either. Really hope that Tang Zi Fang/Mu An He + Ye Qing Lan will have a happy ending not like Maid's Revenge drama!

Agree... I think the main FL needs more character development -- hence why the SML is not back yet. If he returns too early, she would not develop properly. Hence why the delay and why Vincent has more screen time...than Dai Gao Zheng. But then again, I do hope there will be due justice in the end -- where Vincent either gets locked up forever or dies in the processs and Dai Gao Zheng can live longer when he returns -- cause based on the trailer -- looks like he's gonna get injured again when he goes protects his loved one...plus let's hope he really will return so much stronger to defeat Mu An Cheng soon!

I think I agree with you -- She marries the other guy b/c she wants to gather more evidence against him and revenge - kill him for what he did to her & her husband. Eventually Dai's 2nd character will show up somewhere along the line in the drama - as to when that'll happen will be later on I guess. Whether it's him pretending to be someone else and revenge on his so-called brother for trying to kill him or he actually becomes another character in the story... altogether.

What a lame and abrupt ending -- nothing about what exactly happened to the main ML or anything that really connect them together anymore. I guess - it's an ending where -- she ends up back into the real world and he was just a character that she & her friend wrote together - but the story got changed b/c she (the main FL) entered into the story itself -- entering and exiting was so fast -- there's no time for goodbyes at all. She just fades away from the story into reality. Looks like there's no chance of them meeting each other ever again. how sad.

He already died (not sure if he really died or not) -- but so as it seems -- he's dead in ep 5/6 -- oops. Let's hope when Dai comes back as Tang Zifeng -- he'll revenge against everyone and protect the main FL from the evil bro/family.

Well, the drama director had to throw in the "Cannot Fall in Love Poison/Curse" or whatnot to prevent him from falling in love with her. If not, he would've fell in love deeply with her. So, let's just the whole story is ridiculous to the point that they can't love each other properly. Plus then again, we have the main FL loses her memories time & time again - from being killed and then buried in the soil and revive again. So, let's just say "annoyance/stupidity/controlling" life drama is at hand - saw some of their promoting pixs on Instagram - and hoping that the male lead can break the curse so that he can truly love her once and for all. Besides at the beginning the FL saved him but she doesn't remember - b/c she dies to many time and loses her memories every single time -- her saving him makes them also connect in someways or another. As both feel the pain of the other one -- when they are injured or other sufferings. etc. ... So, I think I'll wait around some more or have them release them all at the same time - so that I can watch it in one go... only saving grace for this drama is Li Hongyi himself.

Sigh ... Ye Xi is completely stupid and blind -- very naive and will always end in death -- she will never learn her mistakes properly ever once. Bai Yue is trying to save you from all those heartaches/unnecessary deaths that you end up having. Some times I agree with BY -- she should have her head put in cold water to wake up her proper senses/knock some real senses in her. Always clueless and slow to catch on to things. I think she'll make me get madder at her constantly b/c BY is trying to help you/prevent you from dying - but you ignore his real advices to are more honest than those stupid/selfish/ego-center guys. They will continue to make you fail & die endlessly!! I just feel like BY should just lock her up and never let her outside agin from Fenggu Valley.

If you watch further -- from my guess thus far is that he was trying to fake her family's death/annihilated...b/c in ep 26 (when you get there) - he gave her a painting of her family in Yanlan doing well - with letters addressed to him (Pei) and her. Therefore, no her family wasn't killed - it was supposed to be a way to sort of disappear from the eyes of the Empress Dowager - who actually did want to kill Pei & anyone related to him. But since he didn't tell her about his plans to help get her family out - there was one point where her family members sorta "fake die" and "she also fake die" too -- when Pei went to the burial grounds to find her & rescues her. Funny thing is -- I feel that Miao's two near death experiences plus Pei's (which both had misunderstandings on) - his blindness due to the poison that he got - when he was shot at and Miao's losing her memories for 2 years (both of them suffer from that particular attack - which I believe was caused by actually the Empress Dowager again - or the assasins who worked from someone in the Imperial court) is something they both need to really sit down and work it out -- and not be blindside by "fake truths" or "misunderstandings". Both of the main leads - really need to stop hiding things from each other and be honest with one another to become close again. Otherwise all these misunderstandings will continue to prevent them from being together forever long.

If I remember correctly, it's the main male lead's child. He mentioned about the contraption medicine he gave her back in the past - which was approved by her father (which she didn't know until he confessed to her after getting hit by a branch in the forest --- when it was raining heavily & she was treating him afterwards in the place where she was staying in). I believe that'll be in ep 26 where this was brought up.

Short, sweet, fluffy, cute, cheesy, fun and my goodness the 2 male leads are dead hot!! Definitely worth watching!

he is haunting the emperor. ep 14 he will return (the little prince) in his dream - b/c the Empress RongAn is behind this matter too (gave him halluncinating incense that will drive him crazy)...which will cause him to continue to go crazy from ep 15 & onwards...sad....besides little prince wasn't exactly called murdered -- he was killed in an acccident - b/c he appeared behind the current Emperor (before he became one) -- out of nowhere in the dark and scared him (you got to remember -- the current Emperor is afraid of the dark - that's why he is so obssessed with BYL... b/c when he was young - he was rescued by her and from that point on --- wanted her for himself only. That's why that relationship b/w the current Emperor & BYL is so unhealthy and BYL doesn't want to be part of his life either.

Overall, this was a beautiful and prefect drama! I loved every second of it and at the end of the whole drama, there's life advices in it that's worth noting down! I definitely noted them down and will definitely used them. Cause they are very pratical and realistic as a whole. Both the main leads and supporting leads were awesome --- and the built up of character for each of them has grown and mature over time. Definitely recommend it and will rewatch again in the near future! Definitely will not regret watching this!! Relatable and practical at times too!

Ok, I see there's an MDL about it for season 4 and that it is currently airing. But there's yet to be any Eng subs to it I believe.

well, I did notice that -- and again, it's just my opinion on which ending i prefer more of. Plus I did watch the youtube video you shared with others - stating that the scenes the film there were cut. To me, I don't think those behind the scenes are really related to the actual ending of the story -- it feels like it belongs to the part when Luo Ning and He Na was about to get married and not at the end of the drama. (but then again don't criticize me on this) - this is just my observation/understanding of the behind-the-scenes part that I saw from the youtube link provided here below in other posts that I saw. It's my choice or way of how I interpreted the ending of each of the episodes of this drama -- ep 39 being Liu Shao side of the story and her ending -- and ep 40 respectively is Luo Ge's side of the story of how their life would probably end up.

Therefore, there's no need to tell me which one I should choose cause that's my freedom to do so.,, correct?

So far the story is quite interesting in my persepective. Though, again it's always the Queen Dowager that causes problems to people unnecessary or hates others to death - esp towards the main leads of the story. Both Pei & Song (main ML and 2nd ML) are doing things that roughly good I think...surprisingly the both like the FL - but we do know the fact Shen Miao loves Pei after their marriage and continues to do so despite the fact that she was forced to divorce him because of the Queen Dowager. And to clarify things Pei in some ways is a friend of the Emperor/King - but his mom (who is the Queen Dowager doesn't like him at all). Continues to find ways to have him taken down/killed. At this moment it's still a bit of a mystery as to why she constantly attack him or don't want him near her son - the Emperor/King. Although, I can tell that her son doesn't really like what his mom is doing. She continues to want more power to maybe even overthrow him or is completely greedy of power/money, etc. She doesn't care about the nation at all. While on the other hand, the Emperor/King with Pei wants to makes changes, overthrow all those greedy ministrial people in the Imperial court (which probably, I am guessing that the Queen wants to use to gain more power from other people's expenses.

Anyways, there's also a mystery as to why the Queen Dowager wants Shen Miao to marry her son. But my guess again is that must be related to a certain treasure that her mom (Shen Miao's mom) learned about when she was alive and the Queen Dowager wants to take it away from her. So, like many others - there's probably bound to be blood bath spilt - which could possibly involves Miao's family get killed in the process or something like that. Now about the 2 male leads - whether they both survive this mess or not is in question - plus Miao & her unborn child too. Will it be a sad ending drama or happy one - we don't know for sure at the moment for the 2 main leads - Miao & Pei including their unborn kid at the moment.

Anyhow, that's my 2 -cents worth of assumptions/guess work of where the story is going. TBH, I sometimes don't really like historical dramas - especially when it's has the tendency to have the Queen Dowager always being the evil one and causing problems to the main female and male lead of the story. Well, nevermind that. I think both Pei and Song are quite funny in this story and that's what makes it interesting at the same time yet also serious in some ways too.

Are you for real or is it a joke? I didn't see any more of it. Confused.
