He has a heart transplanted b/c he was in a car accident that involved Su Juan - if you watch the drama till the end -- it will be explained there. Anyhow, it's interesting that Gu Yi is not that one actually causing all the problems -- but SML (Su Juan) and his so-called best friend - was the one who caused all the troubles/backstabbing plus SFML (Bai Yun -- who - b/c of her obession over Gu Yi that she kill their unborn kid too).

These 3 were the cause of most of the misunderstandings/pain to the 2 main leads -- tons of revenging/selfishness, etc. It's kinda interesting to see how Gu Yi begins to pursue her -- instead of the other way around -- and seeing him eventually mature and learn how to love her instead -- is kinda cool -- esp when he begins to realize his mistakes that he made in the past 3 years with her. Also, kinda cool to see how he also help change the Qiao Jing's obessession of Su Juan (when for a long time - she thought that he was dead - but in actual fact he's not), his mom's perspective on Qiao Jing and Qiao Jing's mom on him too.

So, in my opinion I don't think it's Stockholm syndrome as some suggested it here - it's not -- he's trying to make up to her for all the past mistakes that he made before, etc.

Anyhow, it's a H.E. -- thankfully. Short but simple.

Totally agree!! Grrr he has to ruin everything as expected! Completely a huge trap!! Man -- now I want that moron emperor dead -- as to how it's going to happen will be tough. He's inside Y.Y. Maybe need their kid (who is unborn still) - to save him and killed that Heavenly Emperor! As always -- the Heavenly Emperor is selfish piece of garabage never to be trusted ever. Too many dramas having garabage selfish Heavenly Emperor causing trouble -- that never ever existed in the first place!! >.< Argh!

Well it's sort of HE but in a not your usual way of interpreting a HE. You definitely should watch it. Once I started watching, I couldn't stop watching it. It has both a lot of bromance and some romance in the mix -- but more fighting in the process I think.

Well now after Tian Yao is reborn from an egg to a human form once again -- he's more like a baby now -- can't recognize ppl yet -- but towards the end of ep 33 - I think he's slowly recovering his past memories - esp when he is repeating the same actions as to Yan Hui when she was applying the ointment cream on him...he wants to do the same for her too.

It was kinda cute -- when he first awoke from being reborn again -- he kept on spitting fire at her -- partly b/c she's now a Lady with a Dark Aura instead of her normal self as she has inherited/gain the powers of darkness from the Book of Euology practice that was written by the previous Taoist - wife of the current Qing Qiao King.

Interesting now - Su Ying realizes that her sister is no longer her sister anymore -- but a threat to her sect -- b/c she is now being controled by the Dark Forces too. Her brain is messed up and on a killing spree instead. Well hopefully she dies by her sister Su Ying's hands -- which in fact both of their karma - of selfishish unnecessary killing spree.

As for Yan Hui's master -- he was wrong all along too -- got messed up b/c of the dark aura master force too. *Ultimate failure* - let's see if he can truly redeem himself for the messed he caused for both Yan Hui and Tian Yao's life.

Can't wait to watch the upcoming episodes.

Actually, after watching the whole things -- I think it's sort of time travel -- but more in the sense she fell into the "script" of the drama - that she's filming from the modern world (real world) and met these guys -- characters of the story -- but one really weird thing is that the main lead is also shown the the "real world" too...but does he know or realizes that fact is another matter too. Which left us a bit confusing at times. But with what other says - she seems to reference a lot of "modern world" knowledge throughout the drama -- which confuses everyone many times throughout the drama itself. So, I guess kinda time traveling.

Yeah -- that's still confusing -- cause we do see the main ML -- also in the present day scene too acting that "sword martial art" snow-scene---and the crew of the drama is filming him --> but then again -- my guess is that the main FL -- when her manager gave her the script -- she starts to read a bit and feel asleep -- so my guess is that -- she fell into the script book story -- and all that happened from ep 1 to the ending was really her imagination/time traveling into that world somehow. :P But that's the funny part how this somehow becomes more than what it was to begin with. Yet -- then again like you said -- she kept saying she has no memory as to her original orgin, etc until she finally opened the box. Then, the two met in the forest -- him giving her something to allow her to redeem herself - to be free - as if he already knows where she's from possibly...and then having the 3 of them rush off to Mt. Shengyue to rebuild Murong from scratch was a bit more than that -- and a fast forward part where she's back in the "real" world again is what makes it very open-ended between the 2 leads of the story. Cause you do see the two of them are alive in the same filming area doing different things related to the drama itself -- is kinda funny though.

What is unknown are - what happened to the 2 assistants and Fu Yao? Did they all died in the process??? or did the director just write them off?? Got lost in that part.

Well I did say -- they could be Immortals dying in the mortal world -- went up to the Immortal realm -- 2 years later came back down to the mortal world -- and they met again in war times. :P Hahaha...

If it was doppelgangers -- then why all the flashbacks of them two knowing each other...that's what is a bit confusing in the end -- to me looks like they reincarnated or miraculously survived their initial deaths to be where they are 2 years later. Possibly before they died/story started -- must be Immortals coming down as mortals -- then dying and given a second chance to be mortals again -- they meet again - but this time on the battlefield rather than a normal life - he is a solider and she's a nurse. :P

The last episode and ending is super confusing?!? What she's not of this world?? She's from the future or did she fall into a book about the two? or is she an immortal?!? This is so confusing?!? Interesting the 2 guys + her -- at the end decided to head back to Mt. Shengyue to rebuild Murong?!? What happen to the 2 guys assistant/bodyguards? What happen to Fu Yao too?!? @.@ Super lost! But happy the 3 survived and looks like ending is very open ended in terms of relationship (romance wise) -- but the 3 become best friends/companion for each other.

In episode 22 - based on trailers of it.

Although we all say this drama is toxic or whatnot --- but when it comes to their kisses/romantic times -- i call that "spicy hot"/"lit" -- that's what it means to be in love with each other -- kissing passionately and hot as fire with one another. Funny -- can't seem to get enough of it. As for whether it's a BE or HE or SE -- it doesn't matter -- it's how the story will eventually play out -- let the guessing games begin. :P

Yiup -- it's definitely not the main ML! :P --- that jerk is the one who keeps on ruining everything and anything -- not sure why he's set on to want to kill both of them constantly...though.

Totally agree they are pure hypocrites to the core!! Super sad that both Pu Fang died! She did not deserve that at all -- and because the so-called lover that supposed to love her -- didn't do anything properly - in the end also died...pathetic! But that serves him right and wrong at the same time. Really want to kill both Su Ying, her sister Ling Fei -- and now add in some other masters that deserves to die too -- including Yan Hui's master too. They are all selfish and think what they are doing is right -- when clearly it's not!! Argh! I wanted them all whipped like how they are whipping Yan Hui right now -- she didn't do anything wrong at all - all she did is to help Tian Yao to retrieve his body -- he's not evil dragon as they labeled him is. He's actually a caring/protecting the world one! They should actual focus on the stupid Demon Black Aura or whatnot instead -- not the other way around -- so blind and dumb as fxxx. (excuse my language here) -- but most of those high position Taoist/Immortals are nothing but garbage junk/liars/manipulators/selfish/heartless people of all times!! Killing/hurting innocent people at all cost - whoever is against them -- they'll kill them all. Pathetic idiots! They definitely shouldn't be alive at all! They're not even saving the world properly!! Can't believe that Su Ying is back again...argh!! She should've never be revived at all -- but to be dead for eternity and turn into dust too - no chance of reincaration either!

So, as expected from the trailer -- Yan Hui will become the stronger evil/demon - but she only did that to go & save Tian Yao -- now let's hope she'll get rid of all those who wanted to kill her in any shape or form!! They deserve those punishment from her!

Great! So, she tries killing herself after -- all the tramua ... telling him that he killed her family and his own kid (which i think should've not happen - had she told him the truth in the first place - b/c he did say - if she loves him, he'll let the kid stay alive - but her being stubborn and pathetic -- looses her mind and said the kid's not his at that time and end up killing the kid in the end - both made a huge mistake - and if this didn't happen -- their kid would be alive -- so therefore - both of them are fault in this regards). Anyways, after she tries killing herself -- he goes rescues her (takes her to the hospital) and ends up waking up again - forgetting who he is (another lost of memory of him again) -- sigh -- their relationship is going in circles -- no wonder why this story is called "Circle of Love"... nothing is getting resolved properly still. Too much stubbornness - revengeful hearts -- etc. Sigh. -- my 2 cents worth of sharing now. Round and round their relationship -- preview of next 2 episodes have them both together again -- and he tracked down Ru Meng's family maid?!? Saying that he did actually kill them -- now that I don't know if i can trust it.

Actually I don't think she's rude -- she's trying to protect her friend -- but as always, her friend doesn't listen, runs to meet her lover -- and now at the end of the episode she's caught and tortured! Now, that is what happens to someone who doesn't listen to an actual friend's advice! She'll (Pu Fang) will probably be killed in the end of it all. Can't live anymore -- because of her selfish desired to meet her love one. Even though her lover will not kill her -- the others of that taoist clan will do so -- especially the one who hates all "spirits" because they killed "Su Ying".... and I honestly don't like any of those "female taoist" for selfish desire to kill all spirits - whether good or bad. They're definitely not pure at all!! >.< argh

Well there are 10 more episodes to go -- so not sure how the story will actually end...Hard to say - either the both died or one dies or happy ending. It somehows has some similarities in the Maid's Revenge or the Bride's Revenge storyline..we'll have to wait and see...

so sad -- that's the biggest misunderstanding to be caused by the main female lead!! Like seriously why girl?? She should've just told him the truth -- then their child could've be alive and well -- but no she made the biggest mistake of lying to him - leading to their kid's ultimate and unnecesssary death! argh! :( very disappointed of her action!!
