If you're watching that, then this is probably up your alley. I'm waiting for more episodes to air first, but look at those tags.

The stories seem interesting and relevant, but I wonder if there's a "happy ending" to these. By that I don't mean the usual "happy ending", but rather a rewarding one or reconciliation one, not all doom and gloom.

Anyone like Novoland: The Castle in the Sky or The Legend of White Snake
I liked those.

Watched the first episode, I'm interested, the only problem is that the episodes will be released two per week.
If you like Thai time-travel dramas, this might be one to watch. Now I'm off to check out, Love Through Time to see how it is.

I'm guilty of this too. If I write a review I feel like I have to double-check everything I say and re-watch scenes etc. If I write a comment, it's just a comment.

Well I'm glad I finished it, if you're a fan of fantasy it's worth a watch I guess. Everyone did good, except the ML (imho). Too many annoying tropes in this one, but still watchable.

The former Heavenly Empress has to be the most chill Empress ever.

I look forward to more bad girl roles from her, if she wants them.

I knew it would be something like that, but it's even more dramatic than I was thinking.

What a beautiful cast geez.

8 episodes left and there's so much to do in this drama, I'm just going to prepare my heart now.

On movie douban it's rated 6.1/10 117k reviews. Ratings on both sites take them with a grain of salt. While I like the beautiful cast, it's nothing special IMO.

I've only seen her in guest roles, so this would be nice to see. (I'm aware she has done main roles, I just was never interested in them)

I'm not sure what you mean. I'm mainly talking about in other dramas where Siming is a character, basically Eternal Love and Eternal Love of Dream. Then there are other dramas that have Siming in it. SiMing is a Chinese deity, so that god is in a lot of dramas.

Well I finished it. It's nothing new, but I did enjoy the story. Sure there were issues with editing scenes (like literally important stuff happens off screen and the next scene is them reacting to it), there's more, but really this drama is basically a real life Shonen anime. Romance is very slight and doesn't amount to anything ( I'm not going to spoil it). If you like Wuxia, then this is worth a watch.
