Same thing happened to me with The Legend of ShenLi (although it had better fight scenes).
For some reason they reduced the villian threat and focused on setting up the romance story. In this drama, there's even more romances... As regards to Love and Redemption, it pissed me off how much torture they made the ML go through. I did like the story overall.

I can't wait to see how you like her performance. I've watched her for years, so any new takes are welcome.

I don't understand how Kaew's issue was resolved. Did I miss something? I thought they were going to go one way, but I feel like I missed a scene or something.

Actually, I retract that, I don't know when I was typing that, but I meant Masters not PhD. So yeah you're right, although I do know it's possible.

Is this a typical Disguised as a Man story or different in some way? Are there scence with her dressed as a woman, or will she be mainly dressed as a man for the whole drama until the end?

It's very common for PhD students to double major. You can get double degrees a little easier if they are in similar fields, for example both in science. Like PHd in Math and Physics. (it's the same for the Arts and otheres)

Sorry I can barely finish this drama, the acting, other than Shu Xin, is not good. The story is boring, I'm forcing myself to watch this, because I want to see how it ends. When I'm done with it, I'll rate it, but IMHO it's definitely below an 8. The music is good though.

Reminds me of something close to My Girl (Korean drama). Maybe I'll make a recommednation. How does this end? Like, how does the family accept her. (please include spoiler tag)

The stories seem interesting and relevant, but I wonder if there's a "happy ending" to these. By that I don't mean the usual "happy ending", but rather a rewarding one or reconciliation one, not all doom and gloom.

Anyone like Novoland: The Castle in the Sky or The Legend of White Snake
