As many have said, this story is well written. It isn't too sad (so that you don't care about the ending) or too happy (where it would be unrealistic), it was just right. Happy ending for the main couple.
Eternal Love and Love and Destiny are my favorites. I thought I liked ELD, however I can't rewatch it like the other two. ELD gets boring and drags. Maybe it's because the former two have more fantasy and the earth realm arcs are shorter and more interesting. I'm going to check out Ashes of Love, see how that holds up.
The novel was so good. Love being able to associate a character to a face, but you're so right. Storyline was…
I'm reading the novel and I attempted to watch this, but I can only understand 50% of what they say and it doesn't look like it follows the novel, so here's to hoping it gets subbed.
not sure if i should post this in reviews simce its not technically a review, just my thoughts.. ok, just finished…
i thought prince Mu died but at the end he was sitting in a bath with the kunwu doctor saying a painting of him would make a lot of money? how did that happen? -
Remember that Kunlun healer guy asked her for the stone, and that he was going to return it .
ow exactly does the bath change her into a man?- You have to use your imagination a little bit for these.
they said youlian would die after her saintess mark is removed.. but im guessing she doesnt end up dying? for some reason, and then they travel back to the blood icebound ward place for some reason, how do they get out?-
I don't know which version you saw. In the last episode they showed her dying on the stone and once again that Kunlun healer guy healed enough to go back to Li Xuan. She was still going to die. Fortunately he took her to that other zone and was saved. They aren't immortal, but time moves faster there than outside.
They Kiss Again, the sequel, is surprising way better than the first. In addition to this, if you like this drama, watch A Love So Beautiful (2017) and maybe the new one.
I am also being recommended to watch this drama because of Kang Seuk and Aeda. Can you spoil their ending for…
Kang Seuk dies trying to become famous in order to be with Aeda. That being said, they do live together at one point of the drama and was a huge deal to the family.
Don't be put off by the comments below. This movie is first and foremost a revenge movie, and a good one at that.
The only issue is that the writer felt that it was necessary to move the FL along in her revenge path so that it is acceptable to the viewer.
In order to do that, they have to show why these men were bad (so they show it, but not really), so that when she destroys them the viewer feels that justice was served. If she just came up to these guys and killed them without knowing what they did, it would be hard to sympathize with the FL.
Same here.
