A slow start but the season got better as the drama progressed. Also finally a male lead that focused on the case…
I have to say though, it stung when Kang Kwon Joo said that her best partner is Derek Jo. I get it from her perspective; Derek focused on the case than personal vengeance and was really understanding. I personally liked Do Kang Woo though (in season 2 more than season 3)
A slow start but the season got better as the drama progressed. Also finally a male lead that focused on the case he was on rather than going for personal vengeance; which is tough but still (although if I had to go through what they had to go through, I'd be more like the male leads from season 1-3 rather than Derek Jo though). The last couple of episodes or rather the last episodes last scene to be precise lit up a fire in me lmao. I really hoped that this should be the last season but now I really want a season 5- that would clear up all the open endings of previous seasons. I am sad though they didn't make another version of the voice 묵소리 ost that fit the emotions in this season.
It’s weird detective didn’t use gun fighting madman with axe.
probably due to the fact that he was ambushed from behind. later on the fight, didnt have the chance nor the time as he was stabbed already multiple times
Episode 7 really was filled with morally "gray" area. "You don't become a parent just because you give birth to someone" is really the most agreeable dialogue for me. Everyone defended the old man who pretended he had dementia, even after finding out the story behind the family but what about his son? He had to go through seeing his mom and him getting abused on a regular basis yet when he stood up for his mom and himself, she took his dad's side rather than his. That feeling right there sucks so much it kills all your emotions inside. Before you know it, you are at a point of no return where you have surrounded yourselves with similar environment and you don't really know where you go from there or what you do from there. It takes a single moment to inflict a wound but healing it takes a long time. Particularly in this case, he became a criminal.
It might be confusing when she talks/remembers about someone from season 2 and 3 but it does not focus on that…
By confusing, I mean confusing because she gets a flashback, which is story for this season... but she will also get flashback from past season. So, if you did skip season 2 and 3, you might confuse both of the flashback as a part of this season's story
do I need to watch the previous seasons to watch this? I have watched only season 1
It might be confusing when she talks/remembers about someone from season 2 and 3 but it does not focus on that (really short portion) and it will not affect this season's story. The starting of this season will spoil season 3 though (and 2 because those two seasons are connected)
Ordinary timeline drama like this is so hard to find, for me at least, that it has become un-ordinary. Uneventful,…
That being said, I really feel like using music that could have portrayed better emotions and some good cinematic editing, I would have loved it even more. I really feel like there were scenes where the opportunities presented itself but the music and the cinematography were so detached.
Ordinary timeline drama like this is so hard to find, for me at least, that it has become un-ordinary. Uneventful, as some might say, but it is all relative. Relative is a strong word because most things are judged by comparison and not what they truly represent. It was a good one in my opinion. Also loved the overall pace of the drama.
