Naksu-Modeok thing, the setting, male lead being unable to do magic but now he can - im all good with that, but somehow i find the birth secret so incredibly silly 😭😂

they write popular dramas for massess. it is enjoyable (and with how popular they always get, it clearly works) but in no way i expect this to be an super complicated epic high fantasy some people expect. i'm not sayin scriptwriters cant evolve/change their writing -(eg. Kim Eun Sook wrote The Heirs AND Mr. Sunshine) but yeah. some people just have their style and comfort that works

personally, i loved the drama because of the comedy. it is very over the top and bizarre at times and it is what i really enjoy when done right. the first episode is so damn surreal it just gives me life hahaha. many people love the drama because of how it got more serious story towards the end but i love it because of the first 5 or so episodes
also, the female friendship in this drama is great and both ji yeon and ji goo are such an interesting characters
the alcoholism thing is a problem but i feel like it was overblown for the sake of enternainig value of the show.

yes, they will keep drinking liek this. there will be a bit more story though. but the underlying thing is that they get together, drink and do silly things

All of these are mainly romcoms

i feel like... both couples could be going through interesting problems if only writers of this werent so lazy/bad to come up with better plot progress. like, at one point, there are valid issues presented but next moment, the script gets so laughably bad you would think it was improvised

i just hope OhmFlukes upcoming series will be of a better quality than this. they are the type of cp i can watch in anything but ... yeah... :l
