as an avid produce watcher i kinda want to watch this but omg 4 hours per one episode is too much. also... is it me or are the trainees super talented??? like??? there was noone who looked like they were "bad" during the performances ive seen from the first episode :O

i really hope this drama goes through, the premise is really interesting and i really want to see Earth as a main lead. i think the change of the job is not that game-changing for the story

So far i havent seen many chinese historicals but some of these look interesting.

well... not great, not terrible. definitely not one of the top BLs but also cant say it was worse than the average shows. At least it wasnt problematic? though the story was not very good haha

Wow, im really disappointed with the author. Thank god i didnt start the novel... and i guess i wont give it a try in future ://. I really hope the show will go different direction with this and wont ruin perfectly good drama (i mean.. it probably will be changed, they simply cant go with this storyline)

uuhhhhh i honestly dont know, the ending is very open to interpretation (and i havent read the novel).
I would love to see a happy ending for this drama so i interpret it as him being saved from gu poison by someone (? probably yun xi because who else can cure gu poison?) and yun xi coming back to life thanks to the magical bangle :D...
but if you think sad ending would make more sense, you can interpret it as random woman helping Qi Shao and bangle not doing anything magical to save yun xi

I dont really think that they are seeing Win as second class, though? This is his acting debut, of course he has lower following than Bright who was in numerous projects. Most productions have their "star actor" and for this drama it is Bright.
I do agree with you on thr thing that they probably want to get Bright into mainstream media as well cause he has the "perfect" mixed look. Maybe its a pity that he wont be in more BL media but as long as he delivers great performance in this project i am okay with it
