lets not dwell too much on the rating issue for now. we all know it is a good drama so far and the rating will show it be it soon or after the drama airs fully :). lets just send it positive energy and support it on official platforms that matter in grand scheme of things more than MDL :))

oh i didnt mean to say that the first trailer was low budget, i just mentioned the low budget ones because the difference in interiors, production value, script and so on is more obvious in those pilot trailers than in the ones made by gmmtv which have production quality on almost same level as the actual series

if i understand it correctly, the first trailers we get months before the actual series are sort of "pilot episodes/trailers" that are shown to sponsors and such. I'm not really sure why are those pilot trailers shown to the public (probably to build more hype to show sponsors the drama is going to be popular or assess audience reaction). The scenes in those trailers are often not part of the actual series but a depiction of how the drama might look like and are filmed in advance of actual filming.
I'm not sure if every drama does that (or if it'S the case with this drama) but i remember TharnType and The Effect both had really low-budgety first trailers months ahead of the drama. Even LBC2 has unofficial announcement trailer that probably works as pilot

yea but tt is ~problematic~ and -as far as i was willing to check that comment section- the comments by "haters" were mostly constructive (i dont count roasting the show in feeds into this hahaha)
uwma is only boring yet some commenters act as if the drama was the reason they lost all hope in humanity lmao

for a drama with only one major flaw which is "it's boring" it really inspires a lot of extreme reactions. i feel like even TT wasnt this heartlessly roasted.

well, if you want to read some easy-to-digest but very helpful theory, i suggest reading Titulkujeme profesionálně by Miroslav Pošta. You will basically know everything from practice but knowing theory behind subtitling is very helpful. Another important one is Umění překladu by Jiří Levý. Oldie but a goodie. Introduces many concepts in translation in general so you dont reinvent the wheel while translating. I think knowing some theory behind the practice is immensely helpful in the long run

i wish i could engage more in translating dramas but i feel drive to translate for free only with projects that i truly love since translating is actually my job haha

Luckiest Boy is such a good song, sometimes i cant stop singing it haha! Actually, UWMA songs are the first thai songs that i like to "sing-along" (in that gibberish way one sings along when they dont actually speak the language haha) they are just so good!

few months ago JI-N posted notice that if anyone wants to work on localization of the site to their own language to message him. I actually started working on localizing site to czech but im suuper busy lately so i had to put it on backburner for now haha.
you also do some translating here and there, right? :D
