Please tell me there is another human being on MDL who does NOT see any chemistry between Team and Win? I really…
Haha same, i just didnt want to say anything because they seem so well loved by everyone :D They have their own novel and their story is not really explored in the DeanPharm novel so i guess they dont want to focus too much on them in case they get s2?
I'm kind of new to BL.Would you recommend me this drama as a first of this genre or rather another one ?
I cannot say i dont recommend this drama as your first BL - uwma is going to be my most favourite bl ive seen so far. It his however a bit different from your usual bl because it lacks conflict and is veeeery slow so if you dont like slow stories you might be annoyed with it. Depends on your preferrences.
If you want more typical BL experience, i suggest checking out Sotus (season 1) or Love By Chance. Both are good BLs (with some flaws, addmiteddly)
This comment section is crazy lol, everyone's gotta chill :D This series sure has its own flaws, but I won't say…
what i really like on this series is that the main couple gets their happy time and they get a lot of it. Usually main couples in tv shows are going through so many hardships and misunderstandings and drama that keeps them apart and then they get together near the very end and we dont really get too many soft couple scenes as they happen after the drama ends. On the other hand uwma serves us this cute couple thing and i love it lol.
I found this very enjoyable! The begining wasnt really that dynamic and exciting to watch (okay, lets admit it, it was a snoozefest) but after episode 4 i started to get into it and enjoyed the story quite a lot. I really liked PeteKao as their relationship seemed quite realistic - playful, still in love and with their own issues; yes the chemistry between actors was not a straight up fire but it was still there.
somehow, i feel like this is how i wanted Sotus S to be...
BLs are always terribly overrated (in terms of mdl rating) anyways. once the drama finishes the rating will balance out cause only people who feel the strongest about the drama rate before completing, haha
people have different tastes and guilty pleasures. personally, i see some imperfections – smaller or bigger ones, but as of now i'm thinking of giving UWMA the highest rating i gave to a BL drama so far. it just be like that sometimes
Can someone explain me if they are now recording more scenes to fit those remaining episodes? Was this decision…
most probably not. there was no official statement about the number of episodes at the begining so i guess the person who made UWMA page here on mdl (or other database) just went with 12 episodes because that is one of the usual episode-counts. such mishaps happen sometimes The episode count was probably decided long time ago, we were just never told haha
I'm confused. What does block screening mean? Does this mean if we don't pay we won't see the ending?
i think it just means that the episode will be screened in cinema, too, so fans can enjoy the episode together? the episode should be still posted online
Is it a sad film with a sad ending? Cuz I am not in mood to watch a depressing movie
not necessarily sad or depressing, more like psychological thriller with dark comedy with some lighter themes but also with some darker more serious or triggering themes. maybe you should watch it when you are in better mood :)
Hey!! Can i watch this special edition without watching the original series of The Untamed?? Or should I watch…
I suggest watching the original. While first few episodes of the special edition are quite good at some point they start to cut out key "explanation" scenes, scenes focused on other characters and so on and it makes it confusing (as well as some other powerful scenes).
Special edition is watchable but i think you might have too many questions
There is nothing wrong with the slow pace! It's the same as the book. This is not some show that involves unnecessary…
personally, i am really enjoying the slow pace. it's very... relaxing in a way. I understand why some people might want to watch something more dynamic but not every drama has to have the same pacing. As long as they are able to convey the story in a satisfying way, i'm okay with it being slow-ish
They have their own novel and their story is not really explored in the DeanPharm novel so i guess they dont want to focus too much on them in case they get s2?
haha and dont worry, we are all little bit shallow - those actors are just too handsome!! :D
