Love the little bit in EP25 where QY puts on LY's hat for him and straightens out his collar. It was totally unnecessary but such a wifey thing to do that even LY was surprised. Girl's fallen hard and not just pretending to be the wife anymore. 🤣

He certainly does. But I've been spoiled with a few dramas lately with leads who are amazing at communicating with each other that it's rough going back to these kind of noble idiots. 🤣

20 episodes in, and ML is still so f***ing stubborn. Oh my dear god.

I had the same reaction that this was like a poor man's Love and Redemption. And yeah, it would've been better if she was firm about the prince the same way Xuan Ji rejected Hao Chen. At least this drama doesn't have enough episodes to put ML through Si Feng's level of torture. (fingers crossed)

Same here, I would've bumped up my rating up an entire point if he accepted her proposal at the bar and the last "fight" and the going overseas plotline never happened. It would've been a much more appropriate ending for Xu Qingyou's character.

lol, agreed on the last point. It's gotten slightly better since the first few episodes, but at this point, I'm pushing through it mostly just due to sunken cost and being on a Zhang Yuxi drama binge.

I actually think ML made a mature call here. He's probably confident that he and FL can talk things out since he didn't technically do anything wrong. And I think it's in character for him to stay and not put his bandmates and barkeep friends in an awkward situation because of his personal relationships.
