It's a saying in Chinese loosely translated as "even the strongest hero has a hard time resisting a beautiful woman" or that a strong person's downfall is due to their infatuation with a woman.

Yup. And as his bodyguard correctly notes, he seems to be an entirely different person whenever he's around BFX. Clearly flirting with her trumps everything else, lol. It's called 英雄难过美人关 🤣
"Get on" or "get off" the car - the mental picture is a model, cheerfully smiling and waving while sitting on…
True, but when your vehicle gets bigger, it indeed becomes "get on" and "get off" the bus or train instead of getting in/out . Or if it's a motorcycle or bike, I guess. I hate English, lol. But yeah, I'm willing to give the non-native translators a pass on this one. The send/take thing happens so much that I'm kind of numb to it at this point.
The first thing I didn’t care for is the fact that she told her friend the chef that they could go back to been…
I think he did develop feelings for her after seeing Tae-moo be romantically interesting in her, which elevated her "level" (in Tae-moo's words) in his eyes to someone dateable. Shitty person, but I can see it because I've known people like that IRL. And cut Ha-ri some slack, lol, it was seven years. That's a long-ass time, and although she is absolutely faithful and committed to Tae-moo, you can't just off seven years of emotions and experiences on demand. But I know this is just my interpretation based on personal experience, and you obviously see it differently based on yours.

I thought the way she handled Min-woo was pretty in character. Ha-ri isn't the type of person to hold grudges, but she certain can't be friends with him at the present, so she left things open for when the emotions all become ancient history. And it makes sense for Min-woo to go abroad. He certainly has the means and probably needs a emotional clean slate after Ha-ri and Yoo-ra, and there are probably a lot of memories of them tied to the restaurant. I still think he's an asshole though.
Thank you, show, for not blowing the ending. Definitely a calm one after the climax at the end of episode 11. Love that "Shin Geum-hui" still made a cameo appearance at the end though.
I love how Ha-ri's line to Min-woo "don't talk about him like that" mirrors Tae-moo's "don't you dare judge my girlfriend ever again" from the last episode. Take a hint, dude, these two are a perfect match. 😂
pardon my slow brain but does liang yi know about the truth of his mother's death?
Yes. He said it to her through his book that she was reading at the end. It said that he knew the girl was innocent, and he quickly saw through the plan to frame her, which was full of holes.
I agree with your points and I have the same feeling about the ending: good, but not enough fluff lol. But I didn't…
Hmm, now that I think about it, that could make sense too. She did leave the explicit challenge "you'll have to find me first" in her letter, after all.
Initially I was disappointed in the ending because I wanted more of the "fluffiness" between LY and QY since we…
I agree with your points and I have the same feeling about the ending: good, but not enough fluff lol. But I didn't get "her confidence knowing LY will figure it out eventually" out of her actions. Based on her inner monologue, she just wanted to make sure LY didn't commit suicide after losing his mother, so she wanted him to keep hating her the way his desire for revenge drove him after losing his father. But she's just underestimating her hubby's skills.
Now that I've calmed down a bit from that ending, I think I'm feeling more positive about it. Looking at the show from the perspective with QY as the central character and the story as about her life, things make a bit more sense. Her hero complex was a pretty consistent character flaw and some of her awful decisions mostly revolved around that. But LY definitely got the short end of the stick. Gosh, he had to suffer so much. The only thing I didn't like was how YL was basically the winner of it all and got almost everything he wanted. Though in some ways, he wasn't evil evil, just kind of pushing the boundaries of being morally gray a lot.
First there is the funeral scene and then suddenly they are in a dark alley being hunted by arrows???? WHAT?!
lol, yeah. That wasn't the smoothest of transitions. All they needed to do was like a 2 second scenery shot of the sun setting and that probably would've been enough.
Ep25: Mixed feelings throughout the episode. What exactly is the writer trying to achieve by incorporating stupidity…
I agree with everything else you bring up, but I think QY's impulsiveness and borderline savior complex is a pretty good flaw to add to her character and I like it. She'd be a much more one-dimensional character if she didn't have some flaws to go with her beauty and brains. And I don't think it's stupidity since she obviously did do her share of thinking and planning off-screen (like prepping the suicide pill.) It's only after seeing LY getting injured that she actually realizes the pain she's repeatedly put him through and reflects on her past choices. Also, they know YL knows that it's all an act and who she really is. The entire ploy is to make it so that he can't use that information to harm them.

They were out at the gravesite in the afternoon, [rest of afternoon/evening traveling back to city skipped], then they were on their way back home at night when Ping'er ambushed them in the alley.
凤 (phoenix) is not the same 风 (wind) in BFX's name.
