I really enjoyed these two episodes too. I think ML came out winning just fine. He might not have gotten a kiss, but he's got his future brother-in-law's approval, and the entire city knows her as his wife now (I loved that immediate smirk on his face, he wasn't about to correct them 🤣). Besides, Xiyun means nothing to him now, hahaha

Lucky for him, Zhong Li has an entire library, hahaha

I'm so glad the show is self-aware enough to acknowledge that despite being super smart and calculative and knows just about everything, HFX is kinda dumb when it comes to BFX. 🤣🤣🤣

He needs to take some lessons from Zhong Li, lol

I think Yang Yang's voice actor here also has a type of voice that's close enough to his actual voice that my brain doesn't get all weird about it. Overall, I think they did a good job with the dubbing in this show. It could've been so much worse. The only thing that takes me out of it are the surprisingly many scenes where Zhao Lusi is speaking and she literally has a mouthful of food and you hear a clear and perfect line. 🤣 I'm willing to let it slide to actual hear what she says though, lol

I think FQW is actually the smartest one here. When she realizes that there's no chance of a romantic relationship with HFX, she backs off and instead gets to have a powerful lord to rely on and a super awesome BFF.

Agreed. They could've done so much more with the ML than just him basically striking cool poses with his fan.

That whole scene just looked cool. And I love how everybody just sort of naturally accepts this lady as his right hand woman/military advisor. I mean, his people knows her, but to the rest of his army everybody else.

Wait wait wait, did he just make Zhong Li act as a fake FLX so he can sneak away and take BFX out on a date? Well played, sir. 🤣

I love that scene while they were undercover investigating. FLX is literally telling BFX he would pick her over the world because "even though there will always be regrets in life of things you leave behind, I hope she won't become my regret." 😍

FLX: "Although you say that, there is no animosity in your voice. I think you don't actually dislike this person."
BFX: ❤️doesn't deny it❤️

All the frustration aside, I think it's hilarious that he was just straight up fantasizing about making out with her. 🤣

I am willing to bet money that her master is 100% on their side and will refuse to try to break them up. Prove me right, show! 🤣

Her only defense is that if your "friend" of over 10 years suddenly expressed a romantic interest in you, it could be so out of the blue that it's hard to process. But she's also supposed to be this super smart girl, soooo...
