EP12* - no food, but pining for HFX's cooking

EP14 - HFX's homemade dinner
EP15 - wild chicken BBQ
EP16* - no food
EP17 - corn in one hand, hawthorn candy in the other
EP18 - chicken feet street food
EP19 - pear tucked in waistband
EP20* - no food

Here's hoping the almost kiss in the EP22 trailer is real instead of in someone's imagination and doesn't get interrupted. 🤞

That was such a lovely scene. Also, HFX and Piece of String for best onscreen couple! 🤣

I love how the scene with the clay doll is a basically a mirror of their last "date" where he drew her portrait. And BFX is now also looking at him with lovey dovey eyes and all smiles, but still running away from the flirting. Tsk, tsk. 😂

Or a sequel after they leave everything behind and just travels the country together solving cases while bickering and flirting with each other (like the end of EP20).

That would make sense, since he had to ask for BFX's help and I don't think he would put her into one of his serious schemes.

I think it's mostly denial because I got the feeling that she knows she can't stay in the martial arts world forever. During the trial with the go board, HFX said that she wouldn't get trapped in there because she doesn't have things tying her down, and she looked like she was going to reply to that, but decided not to and made a joke instead. I interpreted that to mean that she know she also has the same burdens and she'll have to bear them eventually.

Yeah, and I think he's going to attack FQW to do it from the trailer. Even then I'm not entirely convinced that's not just another one of HFX's reverse-traps. 🙄

With her intelligence, absolutely. But she's totally in denial, lol. But it is a greedy goal indeed, "I want the whole world, and the girl too" haha

It does take out some of the suspense about whether HFX falls for anyone's schemes though (spoiler: he doesn't), lol
I'm also convinced that the trailers are trying to throw us off and her master definitely won't agree to "hit the lovebirds with a stick" 😂

I love how BFX's fellow sect disciples (and even her master! 😂) are all shipping her and HFX. Or in some case too clueless to notice, I guess, lol

I recognized him from having also played another ML's sidekick in Maiden Holmes.

Judging by her reaction to the "heavens' displeasure" at the ceremony, she certainly seems guilty of something related to the dead queen.
