The drama has ended but they still didn't made many things clear..1) Reason why she left him2) how bu yan's brother…
yah, the answers weren't as clean as I'd like, but I agree with everyone elses' take.
3. I don't remember Tang Zi (or who is Tang Qi?) being involved in ML's father's case? Essentially, Tang Zi didn't want ML nor FL to find out about ML's father and FL's father's ties (the fact that FL was willing to offend the Tang family to attempt to make up for ML's father's death.
was super hesitant to watch this bc of the age gap....but I knew the actors were really good...and they definitely did not disappoint. I would say they barely pulled it off, but no one else would've been able to. this was a really good drama...the span of 10+ years (and no major time skips) was super ambitious, but the storyline was pretty good, and kept moving, and you still felt that the characters were living in their present.
the arguments were reasonable and the splitting and staying were reasonable. I do feel like the end was a bit more rushed, but its alright.
awww you can tell they had a blast on set. the acting is so natural I'm really shocked I enjoyed it bc I don't usually like friends-to-lovers trope also, it is a bit slower paced...the "modern time" period was probably over nearly 2 years (and of course, just enough flashbacks for context to when they were in high school, college, and just beginning to work)
So she decides to work with the Dad to get them to make up. Then she accuses him of doing things without consulting…
well they've already broken up at that point where she visits the dad the second time. Also, she accidentally ends up talking about HaiKuo bc she's so triggered by the sight of him and forgets to talk about the company LOLLL
when they were together, the two major instances of lack of communication was his resignation and proposal. She was the last to know about both of these things. He resigned without even giving her a heads up and didn't even think of sharing this news with her. Same thing with proposal...they didn't have conversations about getting married; if they did, he would've known that she wants to resolve the values issue.
yes...its as dumb as it sounds...FL disguises as a guy for whatever reason and ML is obsessed with finding FL (even though she's hiding in plain sight) and the ending....was alright; not super satisfying
First episode already giving me slight Cute Programmer vibes. I truly can't stand FLs who are obsessed with MLs…
I just finished ep 6 and its definitely not Cute Programmer vibes so far Cute Programmer was super over the top at least FL here knows that she's pretending for ML...not actually loosing herself

I don't think the reviews should be that bad. The situations are pretty exaggerated...but its a drama
although with Taiwanese dramas you never know if they'll end up together LOL
but this one is a happy ending

i also think the chemistry and audio engineering was a highlight
tbf, I didn't finish this LOLL. didn't get back to it yet
(also ML seems kinda....mentally sick...)
and the ending....was alright; not super satisfying
ep 7 and 8 are gonna be a treatttt saw the trailers that someone posted
Cute Programmer was super over the top
