hmm, I didn't get that feeling that he was hitting on her in the beginning. I think that he really wanted it for Xiaobao at first, he only started liking her after but didn't really say anything bc he didn't know if she liked him back. Then when he finally got the confession he didn't realize that he also had to confess back
I don't think he backs off when her senior comes bc he always tries to sabotage them and its really clear in the episodes that just came out before his confession

The trailer on Youku doesn't really give a hint to what this drama is about either

yessss honestly not bad acting for a kid. and yah that cat noise has been sooo popular recently (I like that C dramas are starting to use sounds now)

I think he's 6 or 7 and he does seem to remember it at least a bit (I don't think he remembers it clearly to the point where he recognizes the FL as the person who saved him)

I find myself really liking Miles Wei's acting too...he's able to do cold CEO without the awkward blank face. Microexpressions are everythingggg

yah Lin Mo was dating the FL's sister (which is why they look similar and why she reminds him of her) but she passed away on Earth at the ML's school (Lin Mo thinks that the ML did it so he doesn't like the ML) but at the same time he likes how the FL reminds him of her sister. In the episodes released so far (ep 14) I don't think he's made that connection yet. He has his hypotheses about the FL being a cat but it's not proven yet.

This show was a bit overhyped in my opinion (I admit, I was part of the problem LOL). The story was extremely predictable and a few parts of the ML's character didn't make sense. The substance in this drama along with the long b-rolls and scenes of just the FL's pokerface made it feel like it could've been a 24-ep drama. The ML really carried with the sweet moments and there were hella kissing scenes (I was surprised). Overall good watch but I wasn't pleasantly surprised in any way.

It seems like he is at first but I don't think he actually does. He just has a more flirty personality. He's here for another reason (idk which ep you're on but it'll be super clear)

Yah I think so too! And it was sketchy how the ML said that his bro and his wife never really fought but the day they were killed they were fighting

I'm really curious what the Lin Wei's medical condition is (when she met the FL's senior in France). Wondering what it has to do with the story (if she has a timeline or she's recovering from a trauma O.o)

the FL wasn't the cause of the accident. I can see there is a possibility of misunderstanding but I don't think it's likely. Her bff mentioned that she hurt her hand while attempting to save someone from a car accident (which made her give up her surgeon career aspirations and she became a child psychologist instead...but she likes it anyways)

maybe it follows the members-only timeline? not sure. Ep 1-10 are subbed (and they are released to members-only). But ep 11-14 were released today for fast-track (tier 3)

I think it's also a matter of just having a secondary couple that has enough screentime (the SFL and SML get time from talking to their bffs and talking to each other). There are a few dramas that have the FL best friend end up with some other guy or the the ML best friend end up with some other girl. But yah, most of the time it's the FL/ML best friends ending up with each other. There are also a handful of dramas with out a secondary couple.

He's gotta be super young. idk when it was mentioned but the the ML also said that the boy had a short "run-away from home" incident when he found out that the ML wasn't his biological father (so he was too young to remember his real parents). You can also combine that with the fact that everyone else doesn't actually know that he isn't the real father.
But the boy is just starting off primary school so...maybe it happened when he was 1 or 2.

but also she's a young doctor...so dressing more youthfully is understandable. Not all people who have higher degrees need to have only professional-wear. Her style is more closely tied to her personality (not serious).
Education level doesn't dictate personality and personal style (from my understanding in real-life)
A cute blouse and jeans outside and a sweater and long cotton pants at home is normal clothes in my opinion. If she was in her 40s...then I'd reconsider. But I think she's under 30 (fresh doctor from school with little working experience and no time abroad)
