Dropped like a hot potatoe. First red flag- child psichologist FL readily agrees to kid calling her 'Mom'-like,…
A lot of the setup doesn't make much sense...but I like that they attempted to put a spin on the typical arranged marriage/co-habitation (love the little kid) and I also really like the chemistry between the leads.
I wasn't expecting much from this drama (I'm usually find these fantasy/sci-fi dramas too nonsensical) but the storyline is great so far (very minor things that don't add up) but the acting is sooo good and natural
ugh i hate the mom so much...and the fact that he doesn't fight back woiefdskfn but the fact that this situation is possible in real life is even more frustrating
wait rlly? can u pls tell me what ep bcs i was just about to watch it, but i'm not a fan of love triangles so…
I'm on ep 5 and I still don't know who he is...but I'm hypothesizing he's from the cat planet. She mentioned that she was an aristocrat cat...so maybe she's of high interest?I'm also curious why other cat-humans can sense her at first sight but she cannot really sense them. I also hope they explain why she didn't "receive training" before coming here.
edit: up to ep 10 now...I don't think there will be a strong love triangle. The guy loved her sister...doesn't mean he loves her (I really don't like the loved-the-dead-sibling-but-now-loves-FL/ML trope so I'm hoping that's not it...)
Honestly maturity is a vague concept.I'm 22, so basically her age and tbh I can be impulsive like her, mostly…
Also...you mean in ep 25 what ML mom says? She basically says things like "Wow I had to find out online; are you going to make all your life's big decisions without telling your parents; online talk makes it seem like the road for your relationship will be difficult; etc" then on the phone at the end "told you a long time ago, this road would be difficult, if things don't work out just come back to the family business" In ep 25 when FL mom is on the phone: "whats the situation, why is there so much hate online, you've never been this wronged like this in your life"
wow finally peep at some real emotion on the FL's face in the middle of ep 23 thank goodness...curling the sides of your mouth isn't equivalent to a real smile
I was way too persuaded by the comments below (but ultimately decided to give this drama a chance because I had nothing else to watch). I didn't find any down-hillness in the "ending" or "second part of the drama" and the ending is a classic 2000s Chinese/Taiwanese romcom wrap that has you smiling beneath your tears only in the last few minutes This drama is really just the classic tropes you would expect (laughs, cries and all), executed professionally so it is still enjoyable. There was practically no love triangle and its a happy ending. Character development is aight (just look at how the ML reasonably matures by the end) but I wouldn't say this drama is focused on character development.
Just finished the drama. I have to say I was way too influenced by the comments about the "evil twin." it's really…
As for my questions: Why did the twin film her in the first place? (she started filming since the first day they met but her later reasons for doubting the FL all stem from the time the FL already took her place). How did the manager find out about that the twin had a twin (the FL) in the first place? (the twin wasn't close to her manager so she wouldn'tve freely told him). How did the ML dad find out that the twin was replacing her? (it's one thing that he found out that there is a twin via orphanage records but its another thing to find out that they are switched when it took the ML had to spend a lot of time near the FL just to find it out...seeing her naturally use her right hand, see her personality up close etc.) So many other questions but thats all I can think of

The sister isn't really "evil" she just got some psychological issues (and no one acknowledges it for some reason) I also think this "evil" twin had an interesting character. At first I thought that the FL character was extremely inconsistent (after all, the FL playing two main roles is a headache). But then I realized that it was just her sister acting badly/too extreme when she first started off and the "evil" twin's personality has more dimensions, which makes sense.
