One of my first Japanese dramas that I watched and truly loved. Also, people instantly thinking it'd be a BL is deadly. I knew it wasn't a bl the second I read the description.
I'll definitely be posting a review after I finish it. This is giving me some serious heartache as well as happiness as the story continues. I'm just wanting that Do Hyun Soo doesn't end up killed in the end, or his sister, his daughter, his wife. Hell, even Kim Moo Jin! I actually like his character. They all deserve a good and happily ever after life.
On the behalf of the Baek Man Woo and the "real" Baek Hee Sung; yeah, no. They seriously deserve death, in my opinion. But then again, Gong Mi Ja is a redeeming character, in my honest opinion. Yes, she went along with the two's fucked up mindset, but she's the one who stabbed Baek Hee Sung in the side to stop him from burying our boi Hyun Soo. Only character that isn't Do Hyun Soo, Cha Ji Won, Baek Baek Eun Ha, Kim Moo Jin, Do Hae Soo that I liked is her.
Edit: I finished it and cried at the end. Sure, it's not quite the ending we wanted, but at least they're slowly getting back to where they left off before shit hit the fan with the Baek family. It's sad that Do Hyun Su can't remember his daughter as well as Cha Ji Won entirely but at least he's willing to try and do so, right? It would've pissed off if the two of them just gave up like that because Hyun Su couldn't remember anything that happened afterward. But I'm happy with this ending.
Would've loved it if Do Hyun Su had killed Baek Hee Sung, though. But then again, that'd end up bad for Do Hyun Su with him being sent to prison for murder.. Gah, such heartbreak in the last two episodes. I WANT TO PUNCH THE REAL HEE SUNG IN THE FACE REPEATEDLY LIKE HYUN SU DID IN EPISODE 15.
He looks like Changkyun from MONSTA X a little bit. It could be the eyes or maybe just the overall face shape. Also, bro, he's 40?! Bro, wtf. This man doesn't fucking age.
I said that I was going to watch it but I changed my mind before it even begins. I'm disheartened that this was even a thing to begin with; sure, the new cast might be good and all but.. yeah. I'm opting out of this one, chief.
Did any of you see how Youdam fixed his tie while fighting Dennis? That ended me🤣
I actually liked that he fixed his tie-- Guess I like it when dramas have guys trying to still look good while trying to fight off their attackers. Definitely not real but whatever; it's fiction and all that jazz- shit's not real for a reason. lol
